I think we had 8 RX8's there, no RX7's and 2 people w/o rotaries showed up.

We failed, so you might want to consult someone else That said, mine is a pretty deep dent in a bad spot. And it has a good crease in it.

Ah. Mine are just little round dents from people not knowing how to open a car door. Ever try those little suction pop things that supposedly help get dents out? Never used one and don't know if it would work or mess up the paint.

My crease has been a problem for many years. Just ask my wife and the dogs.

Speaking of which - fart.

You'll be impressed to know that when I was in college eating dorm food, I could fart on command. 24/7.

You were at the wrong end of the table, Al. We shared all kinds of bodily function information at the other end.

Any RX8's that are at the 11/20 meet, I will perform the air box mod on site at your request.
See: https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-do-yourself-forum-73/diy-better-flowing-intake-box-similar-rb-intake-box-130332/ & https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-tech-garage-22/inside-air-box-129827/ for information about this mod.

Al, what other worthwhile mods are there? I try not to frequent the Tech area, all sorts of worthless posts in there. I would like to try and get my oil out of my intake...

This is the only free and easy one I have come across. And to those that haven't read the threads, yes, it does seem to make a difference.
In regards to the oil in the intake, have you had a compression check?

Can't say that I have. I have been meaning to go to the dealership to get some rattles taken care of, and to get my headlights realigned.

Yes and Yes, I wouldn't recommend it if I hadn't tried it.

That is all I did. The first screen comes out when you remove the horn. I left the second screen in place.

I'll give it a try. If you want, I can meet up with you individually before the meet. That way we can have multiple reviews available at the meet.

That is correct. The first screen is in the horn. The second is at the input to the accordion tube.
