ACTIVITY: RSD serving Red Devil while he sits on a metal folding chair
TIME & PLACE: Next monthly meet
Unfortunately, only Red Devil will be waited on at the event. But don't be discouraged, you can wait on him also!
Don't miss this new event! If there is a strong liking to the event it may be included at every monthly meet!
Please allow me to again list what has previously been posted for meeting events:

On another note, are we in fact going to have a barbecue. I think the logistical implications are probably an issue more than anything else...

Everyone seems to want one, but we face the same issue every year: WHERE.
I really hope we are still having the barbeque, I've had both the dates requested off from work for 3 months now. And I hope that everyone is still planning on attending, because it would be a shame for certain people to put so much time and effort into this club and not be a part of our biggest event of the year.

We are currently talking about a different BBQ for EVOLV. Not competing, just adding one. Very doubtful that anything will get done by 7/7/07 unless everyone steps up and volunteers to do stuff. I can't do all the planning again this year because of personal commitments.
I do have a line on a joint BBQ and classic car show in September. I can contact them and see if we can piggyback since they have the location. It would be nice to approach them with an offer of something our group would bring to the table, any suggestions?

I don't know what is going on with the RC3 BBQ, but last I heard they are still looking for a location. I'm not up-to-date on that info, so I don't know. There was never any type of committee working on it: I think it's just Christian trying to get something together, so it's not like anyone's put any time/effort into it yet.

Heart on Tuesday night the 3rd? Hmmm.....the Wilson sisters and girls of the 8 club, all in heels and short skirts. Ok, so Ann and Nancy are a bit washed up, and one tips the scales over 250, but the girls of the 8 club will be serving beers to a few hand-picked guys. Looks like a go.
Ooops, was I thinking out loud again?

I'd be down, if I have off work. Got crazy hours.
I've never heard of any of those groups before.

It was a good time last year, definitely worth going to...
And you've never heard of Hat Guys or Back Yard Tire Fire??????? I'm not sure you can join the group if you haven't been exposed to the finer things in life.
j/k

My dear, by that time you say that I hope to be so intoxicated that I don't hear a thing anyone is saying anyway.
And we could do the Evolv version of Chapelle's player haters ball at RibFest...I nominate BlueRen to be Buck Nasty!

We're talking about going on Tuesday. Though ... if you volunteer you get primo parking passes. Otherwise it is a total crapshoot on finding parking.
I've already talked to the volunteer coordinator and they would love to have people come and help (it really is a good cause: All Proceeds go to the Elimination of Child Abuse and Domestic Violence). Are people more interested in volunteering (you get free admission, a t-shirt, and a warm, fuzzy feeling cuz you're volunteering!)
Tuesday they could use volunteers in the skybox from 2-7, or beer tent in the sponsor area from 1-5:30 (you must be 21 and go through a very brief alcohol training beforehand, so you can't be late).
So, what is the overall feel here: volunteer (free primo parking and $10 entry fee waived) or just attend?
