Nodoz, if you go ahead with the purchase of the intake I am more than happy to help you with the installation. You've seen my car, I've done EVERYTHING myself. Intakes are easy.

 

Sure I'll take a trip to Beavercreek again. Give me a 2-3 pay periods to offset what I'm going to have to pay for my 30k mile service.

 

you better not be paying a dealer to do that. have you seen what it entails? about an hours worth of checking things for the most part

Exhaust is broken in and its f*ckin ****! If we all get a meet going, then you can hear it. But we def need more people.

I'm out for this weekend....but I will be at the autox this Sunday in Sharonville again (another plug for getting 8's at the autox)!! If we get enough people to go to that, it can be considered a meet

 

the autox is back in sharonville again eh. I may make a return. I wanted to make one of the kentucky speedway events, but I had no idea how far away it was. I went that one time thinking i'd be a 20 minute drive or so, then an hour or so later when i found the exit i wrote off all future speedway events. most of the time sunday is the only day i get off so i don't want to have to wake up extra early on it.

 

I am coming back to Dayton soon for round 2 of law school and was hoping that something would be going on. Are you guys going to the mid-ohio NASA track thing this weekend? I won't be able to make it but I would love to hear about it.

I'll be back in town on the 19th and after placating my girlfriend by spending a little time with her I'll be free until I start school again on Sept 5. Let me know!

 

Yesterday in Florence, I saw a Green 8 with exhaust pulling out of the mall. I caught up around Mall Rd and 18 but he was going North...I was heading South onto 75. Anybody know who that was....younger guy, Ohio tags. Exhaust sounded nice.

 

New Cincy RX-8 owner here as of Saturday. I live on the Eastside (Eastgate). Loving my 8 so far. Sold a 350Z and opted for an RX-8.

What color did you get? What kind of goodies came with your car? What kind of mods do you plan on doing to it? My family lives in the loveland / indian hill area.

 

Mines red w/ red and black leather. No immediate mods planned I am 27 and my wife is having our first baby. Thought this car was nice with the back seat and all, but I was blown away when I drove this RX-8. Unfortunately, I do have to take the car into Mazda to have them address my airbag light that keeps coming on.

 

Thats cool man. What year is it? Take some pics! 6 speed or auto? Enjoy the new ride! I still love mine!!

 

It's an 04 6 speed. I am going to clean it up this weekend and take some pics. Thinking about using clay bar on it, ever used one on yours?

 

welcome rotarweee. glad to have another rx8 owner here posting. btw did you happen to get yours from rallye motors? i noticed they had a red one there for a while.

i forgot that mid ohio thing was this weekend. unfortunatly i don't think i'll be able to go as my check engine light keeps playing games with me. i think it just needs a replacement gas cap, but haven't had the code read yet. kings won't be able to see it until next week so right now i'm kind of stuck. right now it keeps randomly coming on and then going off 1-2 days later. then i'll get gas and it'll come on again. anyone had this happen to them?

 

Thanks Nodoz. I actually bought mine at Kings Mazda. Good luck with that light, hope it's something simple. I'm hoping my airbag light is something simple too.
