Cincinnati 8 owners
I've got soccer games most Saturday mornings, and I'm also not one to miss a Buckeyes or Bengals game. That said, Sundays are probably a bit better, so either before the late game against the Patriots (October 1st) or the bye week after that (October 8th) would be good for me.

Ok what if we did it next sundayat noon next sunday is the 27th. that is before any college football starts I think, and the bengals play on the next day on monday, cuz i am going to that game. As far as getting a lot of ppl like 10 maybe idk if that will happen, just because i have only talked to like four ppl in the thread. So i am not sure what to do there, but if you guys want we can just meet up for about and hour or so and maybe go on a cruise or something, throw in any other ideas you guys might want to do.

Dude, im down for whenever man, more the merry. I dont start school until the 20th of sept. And I am going to retire from my job at bmw here in a few weeks or so, so I can enjoy the rest of my summer before my 18credit hours kick my ***. Oh get this. I detail cars at BMW and I saw a guy had traded in his Ti 8 for a BMW. It was the very basic model and was AT. So I am guessing BMW Pre-Owned wont ask for much. But I am curious on to what they will sell it for...
Hey everyone. Sorry to jack the thread here but I didn't want to start a new one for this. I've been wanting to install new shocks on my car and have been wanting to do it myself since the labor is too expensive for my budget and, more importantly, I don't have the tools or the know how. Is there anyone in the area that would be willing to help me out with this?
I was thinking of installing Tokico D-spec shocks.
thanks!

i love the RB intake, it was the 2nd mod i did. First thier cooler gaurds then the intake and ram air.
it has helped marginally with MPG, but not much, maybe 1-2 MPG diff on the highway, Where it really helps when you rev it high off the line. I did notice a difference in the responce when accelerating.
I would highly recomend it if you're looking for a cold intake that does something for under $600

as far as the dealer goes, i checked it out with them before putting it on and they said it was perfectly fine. the only thing air supply wise that would viod you warranty would involve going forced induction.
Welcome aboard steven

Wow...such high praise! Id like to welcome all of you cincy guys to join the club...hell, we might have to rename it if we get enough cincy guys! We have two levels of membership, basic and premium, with premium members just getting discounts from vendors such as Mazdaparts.com, Vanquish Motorsports, etc. It also helps support our outings such as cruises, parties (keg fund...lol) etc.
We are giving all new members 30 days free premium membership... Its a great group of people in their mid 20s - 30s that get together frequently to drive or add mods, or just play cards and drink... =)

Who's going to the autocross next Sunday (Oct 8th) besides me and 18bs???
This will probably be the last event of the year I'm here for and maybe the last time you folks will have to meet me as I'll probably be moving to Seattle by the end of this month or early next month.
You don't have to compete, you can just spectate for a bit and leave, but if you want to compete it'll be some of the most fun you'll have in your car legaly and you'll get to see how you do against the other drivers.

I think it's only $35 to compete if you're interested.
btw, terretsboy where are you from in STL? i went to school at SIUE, so I was over on that side of the river all the time.

I'm from THE St. Louis (Tower Grove Park) but my parents just moved out into shrewsbury in the last couple of years. I'm in Dayton for law school now. I think I'll try to make it out for the autocross if I don't get too far behind in my work because of this appellate brief.
What time is a good time to get to this event? Do you sign up for heats at the event, register ahead of time or what? Do we have to work the event? Can someone run me through the process, I want to make sure I can compete.
sorry for the lag, i was busy doing other stuff. registration is from 8-9 and it's $35 for non-members. they take a limited number of walk-ups, so if you want to race get there early. you can check out the schedule at that link i posted. click "register for an event" at the top, then click the event details link on the next page. everyone who races has to work a heat for your time to count.
Wow this thread died. Anyway, this is goodbye to my fellow Cincy 8 owners. Today I'm moving to Seattle. Terretsboy and 18bs, it was good meeting you and racing against you. Everyone else, sorry we didn't get a chance to meet up.
Take care of yourselves and good driving.
