I am totally looking forward to the rebirth of RC3!

 

Got my 8 back from the dealer today. Took it in last Friday because of lack of power and it wouldn't rev over 4K. First they found bad spark plug, plug wire and a fried coil pack. Then things went down hill. These seem to have caused a condition which melted the cat converter. This is my third replacement cat bytheway. The plugged cat caused back pressure that caused oil to blow into my intake. They had to clean out the intake and replace the MAF & air filter. At 19K mi., the air filter should be replaced anyway. This way it was done under warranty. I wonder if my gas mileage will go up?
I had them check the maintance records, on my car, from Mazda NA. There is no listing of my transmission warranty being voided. Looks like I can get that fixed again.
I love the car, but it seems to have to go into the shop every 3 months for major work. In the 1 1/2 yrs. I have been driving a rental car for about 8 weeks courtesy of Mazda.

as far as the 'tar is concerned ... if it really bothers you, mebbe you could send him a PM and just ask him to find another one? Tell him people really associate that 'tar with you and by both of you having it is just causing confusion. I know every time I change mine from the pink cat/dog I get many requests to change it back.

I had to get that nice RSD desiged banner is it ok RSD if not Ill take it off? Ill just save it to my folder

 

I PMed the gentleman and asked him not to use it. He replied he thought it was cool and appologised.
