And I wouldn't have those hitmen on my back if everyone would have paid their dues to the Evolv group like I asked. Seriously, debts to loansharks don't just pay themselves - it takes generosity and charity from others to keep pace with the points they put on me...
Got to check out the awesome handling of this car today.
Driving with the family to church (doesn't happen often and I think this convinced me never to go again), turn on signal and pull into left turn lane. Immediately facing me is another left turn lane for the oncoming traffic. Lots of different parking lot entrances on both sides for the church, a school, Jewel, strip mall etc. Jack *** in a huge white van pulls into the oncoming turn lane too, but keeps going because he is going to an entrance that is behind (through) me. The car that was behind me before I turned into the lane is now next to me so my option is dodge oncoming traffic, hit the van or side swipe the guy next to me. I chose oncoming traffic, weaved around two cars and drifted into the parking lot with the DSC fighting me like mad (so thats what the squiggly light looks like). Heart stopping fun, got applause from the priest and my oldest kid says "boy I'm glad you were driving cause mom would have killed us all". Best part was when the priest asks "So what kind of car is that, I love the doors?"
This story probably belongs in the downshifting thread since if I had been in neutral instead of 2nd I would have had a first hand experience with the front crumple zones and airbags.

YOUCH gray!!! Glad to hear no one was hurt and the 8 handled exactly the way it should have.
I hate those dual turn lane things. The only place where one lane of traffic goes both directions!!!
Squiggly light is much more fun when not weaving in and out of oncoming traffic, btw
