I was out tonight and the wife and I ran across a jewel of an RX8 that was stick so we passed. It is super clean and not a scratch or ding anywhere! Price seems high for a 2004, but you really don't find them in this shape and fully loaded too. 56k miles!
If anyone wants an RX8 in Cincy they need to check this one out.

So is it a 2004 or 5? Heading says 2004. They also need a spell checker.

The Optima has coilovers and an aftermarket intercooler and a different grill and wheels. Basic upgrades. ^ what really matters is that the RX8 is a nice car for the money, I could care less what some dealer puts as a reference. We all know what it is.

Geez, the drive home yesterday sucked ***. No less than four slowdowns on different freeways for no apparent reason. Lots more people traveling than there were on Monday when we went down. It was good to roll in the drive.
The rotor accents I bought for the 8 were here, they are nice. Very heavy stainless, I'm glad I went with those instead of the aluminum another place sells (and they were only a couple of dollars more). I'll get those put on here in a bit when I go out to see if the beast can be aroused.

I like the Optima. Now if Kia would employ the Mazda chassis tuners, they'd have some bad *** cars for the money. Same goes for Hyundai, Kia's parent.
Looked at a factory rep's Scion FR-S at King's Toyota. I like the Subie better. Great seats in the car, but the Scion's dash looks second-rate. Lots more headroom in the FR-S/BRZ than the 8. It's helmet-ready.

Yeah, I highly doubt the Kia is anything special in the handling department, but those SX's are pretty nice looking cars for what they are. Found another 8 at Dayton BMW, a Shinka, not bad at 13.5k and 27k miles but it's a more than I would like to spend for a used RX8 for the wife. We decided to hold off buying anything until next year at this point.

Agreed. Saw my first FR-S today, and they look sleek. I just can't get over how mundane the BRZ looks. Not really aggressive at all, kinda sedan-ish.

Saw one yesterday on Madison Ave. at Wuslin Triangle light(don't know which version) with a BOSS 302 hot on his tail, he looked scared. Is it just me, or did they try to make the *** end look like an RX8? It even has a Rotary accent back there, LOL.

Not me, I'm relaxing after an arduous day replacing brakes all around on the Cabrio. VW is now on my list of cars not to do brake jobs on. The fronts are normal, the rear rotors are combined with the hubs so you have to transfer bearings over. In any event the old brakes were worse than I thought so at least now the trainees will be able to stop.

I got lost going to Fuel on Tuesday. Can someone help me?
I guess I was trying to get to Friday sooner than expected. Trying to decide if I should paint trim on the house tonight when it's cooler or ditch that thought and head to Fuel. From the looks of things, it's not going to cool down until Sept 30.
PS: Dog got her meds last night so that's off the list.

Silent, but deadly. Just like my dog's farts since she's been on antibiotics the past week.
I was in the Miata last night stopped at a light. Coming the other way was a fairly new WRX STi hatchback. I heard him wind it out and when he shifted the BOV popped and the exhaust crackled. Man, it sounded good. I was thinking of Dan when it flew by.

Steve, if you had a supercharger on your Miata it would sound good too. I think I'm making progress getting the alignment sorted out on mine, I shimmed the forward supercharger bracket and it looked/ran better. I've been stuck working on the damned VW (and I washed my stepson's Jetta today and cleaned it for my wife to drive to pick him up) and running errands for the boss so am a little behind on getting things finished. On the plus side the last time I started the Miata for a test it idled at 1,000 rpm. If I can persuade the belt to stay on I'll have something!
