Man, sorry to hear about the bruise. I'll make it up to you next time with a larger pizza.

About ready to pull the trigger tonight on wheels. One more pass on a few sites and I'll put the order in and hope to have them by Friday. I'm taking Friday afternoon off, and if it's raining, I'll get the summers off the stock wheels and move them over to the new rims.
Which ones did you decide to go with?

My beauty is back where she belongs. Now I need to sell the jeep and then start on some additions to the 8. Oil cooler screens and window tint are top of the list

I've been thinking of getting ones for myself, and never get around... (or more like being lazy....)

Actually going to wait a couple of weeks. So have at them tacti. Wife has my spending cut down until the jeep is sold. $1000/month in car payments will have us living in cardboard boxes if i don't unload the jeep.

Hey Allen,

I spoke to the folks at Eclipse down on Reading Rd, near Galbraith. RoteryKytten had hers done there. Under 200 bucks for our 8's windows. Laser cut. Maybe we can swing a deal if we bring two cars in.

BradleyB, still deciding. Leaning towards Enkei Raijins now. Gun Metal finish.

I got mine from Tire Rack only cause I got tires and TPMS sensors.

If your not ordering tires you might consider:http://www.buywheelstoday.com/produc...n+Metal%29.bwt

They are located in Cincinnati but don't allow pick up unfortunately.

Also if you wanted to go with a wider rim/offset. I should have the fender roller at the end of the week that I will be more than happy to let you use.

FYI if you are not sure how dark you want to go and want to try seeing mine first hit me up - I went really dark and it might not be everyone's cup of tea from a driver's perspective, lol, especially at night in the rain taking left turns...just sayin'.

Yeah, too dark and it would make me claustrophobic. The Miata had really dark Florida tint on the sides and the dealer had to remove the tint to make it legal. But the back and part of the sides have the heavy kind.

BradleyB, I thought about going over to the Forest Park Tire Discounters and take a look of what they had, but if I get them from Tire Rack, I save the sales tax.

I don't like window tint

While i agree that it can make a car look better, I just don't like it. I don't like not being able to see clearly. It might have something to do with the fact that my eyes are -8 and i've been legally blind without contacts or glasses since i was about 12.

I have really dark tints on my my truck and my jeep, so I'm used to it for the most part. If its too dark ill roll a window down

It's easier to choose who to marry than select the finish on the Raijins. Black or Gunmetal. I'm waffling. Coin flip next up.

Just pull the f'in trigger Man!

Stay tuned for the next episode. I'm in Rochester NY until Thursday and I want to get the rims by Friday. Tire Rack can get them in a couple days so ready, set, .... wait.

Episode 2: Ordered 4 Raijin in black. 18 x 8.5. Bought the TPMS also and Tire Rack installs them w/o charge. I'll have them Friday. I could have them Thursday but wifey would have to be home and I don't want them laying out on the doorstep in the rain if she's not home. I actually called Tire Rack and spoke to a helpful person. Hard to believe now days a live person to talk to. Great customer service.

I'll get them installed on Friday in time for Fuel on Saturday.

The nads just descended tonight. Give me a break.

No ****, the best two out of three coin flips decided. Heads was black. Need to check to see if it is a 2-headed nickel though.

Now that I"m modding my car, do I have to wear my Mazda ball cap backwards?

Funny tonight some Honda Ricer with fart can wanted to impress me with his POS beater. My rental is a brand new Maxima. He pulls away from the light, belches a ton of smoke and thinks he's king of Ridge Ave. Maxima ate him. Hah!

I'm regressing in years.

congrats Steve

Now the big question. What's the offset?

I'll be a fuel saturday for sure. I'll need some coffee and probably some biscuits and gravy to get a good solid base for my st. patty's adventures.

Maybe it'll add inches to my personality too. LOL

+50. Just like stock rims. At least I can go up a bit in tire size once the Bridgestone's wear out. Depending on who you believe, the stock rims are 24-26lbs each. The Raijins are 20.6. Shaving off 4-5lbs per wheel is going to help.

Now I need a subwoofer.

Mazda x3 those rims will look great. Black will look better than GM. I would suggest +35 in that size but it will still look good with +50 in stock tires. Can't wait to see them.

Gee, what do you supposed my age is with my collection of toys and mods? I'll just say that I rarely turn down the chance to school someone (unless it's very obvious my vehicle is outclassed, I'm not stupid).
