By the way Jeff, I will be installing the Ignition solution this Saturday...
Plus I got new spark plugs that I will be putting them in
when are you going to install your ignition solution?

 

Steve, what time are you thinking about installing it on sat? MAybe I could come and lend a hand and see if we could get mine in. I am going to order my NGK spark plugs today..I heard they make a HUGE difference from the OEM ones to the NGK when having the ignition solution installed.

Let me know..I will be more than happy to lend a hand and just hangout..do you have aintiseize for the bolts and nuts?

 

I just picked up a set of NGK plugs from auto advance! my car is completely apart because I had to take the turbo off!
I will be working on installing the ignition solution saturday all day! I am also putting the turbo back on and i am also recirculating my BOV so....
yeah I will be there all day!

if you want to come over and get yours done give me ring....

That sounds like a good idea steve. Make it an all day event. Start early, have a BBQ, maybe some cornhole, take a cruise, then meet back and chill while throwing back some cervezas.

Hey Josh can you find out the name of the place that can redo our seats in leather? I have some neat ideas for my interior.

 

I''' talk to the guys at TD performance. I already spoke to them about a Dyno day. They told me a minimum of 10 cars are needed. The rate would be $65 for three pulls versus the standard $85.

Also to the Dark Green RX8 guy that was interested in my tires. I put some pictures and brief description in the parts for sale section.

I would be up for another meet in July or June. I had a lot of fun at the last one even though I didn't get to stick around after the cruise. Next time we need to take a longer drive. A Sunday would be better for me, I would have a better chance of getting off of work as opposed to a Saturday or Friday.

I`ve been so busy!! but I havent missed much!!

My car is still in my garage half assembled, by the time I am home from work I am too tired to work in it!!!! plus every time I drive by a gas station I get

I miss it though! I will finish it this week I hope!

I like the dyno idea... however I am heading to chicago on the 7th to get Mazdamaniac to dyno tune my turbo with the AccessPort which is awesome lol

I cant decide what to do my 8. Either exhaust or coilovers and rims/tires or autobahn kit. I have a feeling Im going to regret doing something whatever I may do. Thats probably the biggest reason I havent done anything yet. Blah Blah Blah...enough of my yappin.

I was just in Chicago last month. The traffic is horrible. FYI theres some heavy construction where 65 meets 94. And the detour directions are confusing as hell, assuming you'll be taking 65 north.

Exhaust to me is a waste of money.. It does not benefit performance at all ($600 + for nothing) well if you just want a loud RX-8
but then again, you could get a midpipe or a highflow cat which is cheaper and it actually gives you some gains in horse power!

coilovers and rims/tires might be a good upgrade and the autobahn kit is just pure sex!

If you do something, you should enjoy it!!

I officially
uninstalled the turbo kit (sent the turbo to be upgraded and rebuild) and installed back in again with hand tools, some jacks, and my garage …..

The car feels great!!

I don’t care that its 2am I am going to drive it from my home (Florence) to Cincinnati and back..

I am pumped lol

 

I conqured The Dragon this past weekend! No speeding tickets..but came close 4 times! Haha..opps!
