Happy "Birthday"...sort-of...

It was two years ago TODAY that I drove my shiny, silver, brand-new 8 home from Legacy Mazda (may they rest in peace).

8,700 miles later, she's still perfect, running strong, and as soon as the roads dry out, I'll get that new exhaust installed! Maybe as soon as tomorrow, we'll see.

what banks do you guys use here in the area? I have wamu but they have pissed me off one to many times and I need to find a new one to use. Not apposed to a credit union as long as there are a decent amount of locations.

A credit union is your best bet- especially for savings and loans. Second best is a local bank. The big, national banks don't give a rat's hat about you and your account.

I insure it as a recreational vehicle, which allows me 5,000 miles per year. I don't drive it in winter, and the rest of the year it's my weekend "fun car". I drive to work and run most of my errands in an old Explorer that I've had since '91.

I was with wamu. Anyways, I was about to overdraw my account so I deposited more money in there in the AM, which in the past has ALWAYS had it available for use (well up to 300 of what you deposited) immidaitly. So I went and got some food for lunch and dinner and then one other small purchase. they freaking overdrafted me for the three things after I depsoted the money in there and they wont give it back now

I have been using US Bank for like two years, never had a problem they take care of me actually. Reverse fees even gave me my money back when someone stole my CC info.

HAPPY BDAY JT. Good birthday present for your car for sure. Nice new shiny exhaust.

Not at all, if you buy Mazda parts and they install it there is nothing they can say, cause they would be condemning their work or their engineering if they did.
