^^bose, where abouts are you? I'm in Granger (West Valley), you might see me in my silver '07 once in a while. Former long-haired kid now short gray haired middle-aged guy with white goatee.
We've been trying to get the locals together at a restaurant or coffee shop for a while, so-far only Darius Demon and I have met.

Man, my heart is just busting for your loss. I remember when I had to sell my RX-7 back in '81. It was like having to put my dog to sleep.

I saw another black one today in draper. That you Kobe? By the way Seriouscoin, FYI my 8 is an 05' and I bought it with 19k miles for 19k dollars two months ago. Problem with 8's is they depreciate crazy fast. Oh and I'm in Sandy too 114th and like 2700e but yeah we should definitely try and do another meet before it snows!....again.

Im down to meet in bountiful. Or we can do some local canyon runs. Im new to the area so I would need to meet people and follow to the canyon... But the bountiful place would be good for me to meet as well.. Maybe this Sunday not too much traffic would make a great drive.

its really not that bad in the snow, i just got snow tires put on it and if you've driven in the snow before, its really no problem, just gotta be more careful than normal.

I saw a guy in a yellow one yesterday getting off on 5600s in Roy.. Anybody.
BTW. are we going to meet this sunday for a drive or what?
Oh next question. I am currently using T1R tires on some 5zigen Rims.. I want to put my stocks back on for the snow weather. Will they work ok in the snow?

I can't answer that. I bought my '07 in March- and won't be driving it in the snow. It's spending the winter in the garage and only coming-out for occassional warm-ups when it's clear and dry. I'll be bored in the Explorer from November through the end of February.
But I've read many posts that with all-season treads you should be OK, as long as you don't try to drive in 6" of snow and take it easy.
I'm OK for Sunday if it's not too far...pick a place...

^I have the OE Dunlops and they are most definitely NOT an all-season tire.
I've been thinking of buying a second set anyway, long before the Dunlops wear out. On the "Tires for Life" program, you have to get 25,000 miles on them before you get a new set, and I've never heard of anybody getting more than about 20,000 on them. So I may get a second set when they start to wear and then put them back on when I get close to 25,000 miles, so I can get the free set. What a pain and extra expense, though.
