i saw a red one on i-15 this morning around 9am. i was going south between 9000 south and 10600 south. it was off the side of the road. it has chrome wheels too.

 

I Live In West Valley By Slc Community Collage But About A Week Ago My Car Lost 90% Of Its Power And Is Getting Worse But No Check Engine Light It Came On Once And I Had It Checked By Auto Zone They Said It Was A Misfire Does Any Body Think Or Know Whats Wronbg And How I Fix It

 

Hey I Had Something Like that. but I THrew new plugs in and Solved that Problem Fast.
Yeah I call The city trying to work stuff out but it will be ready friday.
Also Anybody drive there 8's in witer/snow. how do they do?

 

MILITARYMAN, did you do a compression check yet? It could be plugs, could be wires. How many miles on your car? Might be time for new plug wires. You may have a bad seal as well. Might need the computer reflashed.

^^No idea. I like my car stock (exept for those clear corners, LOL!).

Try searching the Exterior Appearance forum. I'm sure you'll find the answer to that question.

Choose wisely. Some of those kits are butt-ugly.

 

Yeah True... Some look Gay lol but.. Cant you lower the 8's without buying new springs and stuff

 

There are a couple ways to lower the eight, some are cheaper than others, depending on just what you're after, but you'll have to do the homework. Search a bit, I was just reading about this the other day.

But be careful. I've bottomed-out stock, if you lower the 8 in Utah you'll be scraping bottom A LOT. Might need a bigass skidplate.

 

Oh yeah.. haha I scrap even with not lowering it haha

 

If you purchase a body kit you must have it painted. The only way normaly you can buy a body kit painted is if its the Mazda Speed Kit... (Maybe)

I just spoke with Tooth Fairy and she's back on the road. Picked up her new RX-8 today and is staying the night in SLC, driving back to SoCal in the morning. She bought the one I checked-out for her in Provo a couple of weeks ago.

Also tonight I saw a black RX-8 (filthy- dude wash your car!), appeared to be stock all the way, turning into the Reams on 4700 So. & 2700 W. Young guy driving it. Anybody??

 

Hey Utans! I'm in your beautiful little state as I type! On the way from SLC airport to Provo, driving on the 15 south bound I saw a white RX8 with a car bra on the front of it (you were going north bound). Then I saw a black 8 driving by Legacy Mazda (maybe was being test driven). Few 8's on the Legacy lot. Then we saw a gray 8 near our hotel in SLC. Will post a pic of this car soon.
