I feel some hope. Saw another 8 in UvUs parking lot, One on the main drag of provo, and one sitting in a parking lot. I dont know if these people are active into their cars, but Its nice to see them around. One was black with a euro front plate on it.

Hay guys.. I used to be there!! but then I sold my RX8 it is still owned by some guy who lives in Clinton.. I traded it in for an WRX at Freeway Mazda in Ogden and was driving down the street one day and was like that's a nice Rx8 coming down the street.. Then I was like Oh snap that's my car.. So I flipped a bitch and talked to him about it.. Haha.. he kept it the same.. lol.. Last year I picked up another Rx8 as a second car, its good to be back.. but I live back in Cali now..haha..

I don't think I've been on this site in over a year! My 8 unfortunately was stolen last Memorial Day Weekend. She was recovered last month, but from what I heard, she wasn't pretty when they found her. :'( I still keep in touch with JT myself, and a few RX7 owners as well. I've done a few of their tattoos, including Shep's "V-0" piece in his ankle.
I now drive a 300C 5.7. I became a Mommy last year and needed a more baby friendly ride after my 8 was gone.
I sure do miss the crew from back when I first bought my 8 in 2010.

I thought I saw your old 8 the other day in South Jordan. Then again it could have just been a loud black 8. I dig they 300, saw it on instagram, my wife used to own a regular touring v6, wasn't fast, but sure as hell was luxurious though. I really like the new interiors, very classy.

Yea its pretty lame.. I would imagine since they own an 8, they might know a little about cars or at least have an interest in em.. It would be so awesome if they joined up and came to meets and stuff.. I think I'm going to start trying to track em down and get em online. leave notes on their windows and what not for either 8club or utahmazdas. Would be sweet to get more 8s.

Maybe its that the 8, and especially the r3 is just such a spirited dream to drive that they would rather just drive than get on a forum and discuss modifications that arent available??

haha, noo. I just want em on the forums so they know when the meets and cruises are. Its super fun to go cruising with other 8s, and I'm sure if they love driving their cars then they would love meets/cruises too. Most of the 8s I see around are all stock, but I still believe they got the car to have fun with, and they would like driving with other 8s. Its a good feeling.

Ah thats too bad. Well, good luck with the 8. If you ever feel like coming to some mazda meets, check out Utah Mazdas its really active. Lots of meets and cruises.

MEET & GREET
Where: Circus Circus parking area behind The Adventure-dome theme park.
When: 3pm to 8pm
Greeting, registration and begin vehicle staging for car show.
PARTY AT THE CIRCUS CIRCUS
Where: Circus Circus Hospitality Suite
When: 8pm to whenever
Party will be BYOB with horderves, chips and dips supplied by WHiV6.
SATURDAY MAY 18th
ROTARY SHOW
Check-in begins at 7am
Show 8am to 1pm
This year the rotary show will be held in the parking area behind The Circus Circus Adventure-dome. There will be several categories depending upon the cars registered prior to the event. Repus, old school, 7’s, and 8’s will be judged separately. 7s may be broken up into first, second and third gen vehicles if preregistration shows a sufficient number. All rotary vehicles registered in the show will be eligible for trophies.
TROPHIES, RAFFLE, AND FOOD
Raffle tickets will be sold at the meet and greet on Friday and during the car show on Saturday. Drawing for raffle prizes, announcement of car show winners and presentation of trophies will be done at conclusion of car show.
For attendees convenience there will be food vendors available during the show as there will not be a lunch as in past years.
ANNUAL CRUISE
2PM
Be prepared for an approx. 3hr drive

At Hotel Party
In past years we have the Saturday night dinner get together at a local restraunt. This year we will have the party outside the adventure dome in a secure area. There will be a DJ or live band and plenty of seating.

We will have a short cruise to a scenic area to be announced
