Wink Street and Dyno Tuning

Mazsport can street tune and dyno tune your RX8. If you are not near by and have questions about tuning, this is the area to ask Mazsport your questions.....

STREET TUNING

Street Tuning addresses issues the customer might have in normal day to day operation of their vehicle. This is a vital part of our process to tune a quality product and can not be done on the dyno because the car will react differently on the street. It also reduces the cost of the dyno session itself because most of the tuning is alread done. We recommend street tuning on any vehicle that has aftermarket parts installed to ensure that the part is working to its fullest potention for your car's specific needs.

DYNO TUNING

Dyno tuning is primarily done to correct any wide open throttle issues. This process is measured with a wideband O2 sensor to fine tune the AFRs. Mazsport believes dyno tuning is essential to ensure the maximim power is being achieved while still operating at safe air to fuel ratios. Mazsport prefers and uses the Dynoject for their results. The Dynojet measures the vehicle's horsepower, torque, and air to fuel ratio.

Heh I'm based out in Singapore so needless to say I am no where near Mazsports.

Having said that...would it still be possible to book an hour of your time to do a phone call to assist my local tuner?

Pls let me know - thanks!

p.s....(shameless plug)This could be a perfect example of how user friendly the Int-X could be. 'Remote' tuning 2 continents away

I can attest that Scott has the tuning down so well he could likely tune your car wearing a blindfold and both hands tied behind his back.

The kit has now been installed but its running WAY too lean. AFR is ridiculous at the moment (17) and I'm not even gonna try and drive it to the dyno.

Thing is we are unable to connect the laptop to the X as the software adaptor was not included in the kit that I purchased. Now I'm praying that it is the same adaptor that the Microtech units use as I've managed to borrow one from a mate of mine to bring down to the garage in the morning.

What I'm worried now is that once connected - the base map wont be on the X as its a used unit. Would it be possible to send me the map via email or something so I'm at least able to drive the vehicle to the dyno for tuning? I'll have to set up a time this Satwith you guys to do the distance call thing to assist my tuner if you have a slot available.

Hope you can help - thanks in advance!

Merv
