^^^ i agree... i have had these mounts on my car for a months now and they are exactly what aftermarket engine mounts do... they make the car vibrate as all aftermarket mounts do

i love them...

Hi,

My right motor mount has died like it usually does on the 2004's. I'm out of warranty and Mazda wants like 1000$ to have them changed. Have someone tested the "soft" version of the Mazsport mounts? Do they vibrate more than stock or just a little more? I would want "stock" feel preferably to "racing" one.

These are competition mounts. There is a vibration compared to the stock ones that need replacing every 20k miles or so. I have had my stock ones replaced 2x now and will look at this as a good alternative when they go out again in the future.

Even the softer version gets more vibration that stock? And in that case, how much? I can handle a little more vibration (I didn't knew the vibration at idle every few seconds was a sympton of broken motor mounts, I tought I was normal because I bought the car second hand and it always did it) but not a car which shakes a lot.

just noticed the mounts have been modified in design.

by comparing the new design and the original design, it looks like the new design is not as strong as the original one structural wise? running a higher risk of bending the mount at the point where it bends?

please provide information on the strength and bending risk.

I got mine ordered and installed, and to tell the truth im not impressed. What i wanted was eliminating the vibration. I talked to one of the person at mazsport over the phone and he said that itll help eliminate most but still little vibration. Well i guess "little" is the whole car vibrate worse than before. I made a mistake purchasing this. To also find out that only my right side mount was bad and i could of just spent 160 for the part and labor. I wasted 275 plus 225 labor to install these.

Who told you it would lessen vibration?
This thread and everywhere you look will tell you that hard mounts increase NVH.
