Thermostat install question:

I HAVE to drain the coolant right? Or is it high enough that I don't have passive coolant just sitting there at the thermostat.

I've checked my PMs and my email to no avail (paul at mazmart dot com and sales at mazmart dot com). We are closed on the weekend but I would love to try to help you.

Paul.

Hi, sorry if this was mentioned before but is it compatible for a 6AT Series II Rx8?
I would probably need the Thermostat too?

And just a quick Q, stock water pump will start kicking in at around what temp? in comparison with the Re-Medy water pump.. Will it be early? or at the same temp

Our water pump is not compatible with 2009-11 vehicles although the thermostat is better than stock.

I'm a novice when dealing with cars, especially my rx8. Is this water pump the same as the secondary air injection pump? If its not do you guys carry any?

I used a hand vacuum pump through the water pump opening, you only need drop the water level in the block to below the water pump, I didn't drain the whole block.....

/And change the oil afterwards.

The website was incorrect before but now I am actually out of them. I will see if I can have some made in the early part of next week. Stay tuned and remind me if you don't hear any word.

I can't afford more employees at the moment and have a decent international customer base. A LOT OF PEOPLE need parts. I won't complain

Plus I'm a workaholic and I'm trying to change.

I'm one of these people but you didn't reply to my mail
The pump is still working fine after 40-plus track hours anyway!

Available on the website presently. It opens 6 degrees earlier than stock. It is most beneficial with our water pump and an enhanced fan control.

Paul do you have the remedy pump and improved thermostat in stock? I'm considering proactively pulling my stock pump and thermostat.

Yes. All Series 1 RX-8s (03-07 JDM) can use and will benefit from our RE-medy RX-8 water pump.
