I am in Tulsa and owned my RX8 for about 2 months. Would like to meet everyone here in Tulsa with an 8 and catch some dinner or cruise around or whatever. Everyone meeting up anytime soon?

I have Sundays And Tuesdays off. And on Saturday get off at 5. So I'm going to say probly Sunday might be everyone's day off. That would be awesome if we could do it Sunday. Like around noontime. Catch something to eat. I'm excited I haven't seen you guys in forever. And u still haven't seen my calipers. Well lemme know and ill be there

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Sorry it took so long to respond, changed companies I work for and been swamped. I cant wait to meet everyone. Weather has been crazy lately but I think we could squeeze a dinner or something in on a 50+ degree saturday or sunday sometime soon. What ya think?

 

Ok guys I would like to plan a get together either this sun or next sun. Like a 2:00 pm lunch. Maybe a cruise out to locust. Let me know what's up.

 

I say if this Sunday is clear I'm down for that. We can meet in Tulsa at fudruckers are normal place. Its suppose to snow and ice tommarow here. I'm sure the roads will. Be fine. Rickie and I will call u sat night to see if were. Still on. I'm excited. What's in locust? LOL u trying to keep me n my home town? I hit my 500 miles went and had the oil change the guys were dicks they got mad because I was telling them how to care for my baby add told them ex how many quatrs to use n they only filled it halfway. And messed up my tire pressure. Pisses me off. Anyway I'm down.

Jim did ya find out about how much it would cost for your friend to do my lights? The food was awesome. I can't. Wait till next meet. I want to go for a ride with ya Jim. LOL take me around some curves. Wayne really enjoy it. He is down for more meets. I'm ready to get past my break in point. This sucks. I'm excited about the club decal. I want it now so I can represent. Also I need more pink. LOL

Yeah, it definitely sounds like his cat is going. I asked my friend, he said that he would do your lights for $150. Let me know when your ready. He will need the car for a full day for prep, paint and dry time.

 

When you talk about your friend doing the lights...is that for painting the eyebrows on it like you have? If so, could I get the same price to have mine done? Would like to have it done before the Texas8

 

I need to update my sig. It for actually smoking the head and taillights. The eyelids I had were silver kevlar. Most eyelids are cf or fiberglass pieces that attach via 3m tape. If you do want them smoked though. I can get it done for you at the same price. If you want him to tape off and just paint eyebrows he can do that to. I would just have to get a price.

I'm also hoping to get my hood back that is in my sig. I should find out tomorrow

 

Looks like Renesisjim and Highspeed will be making it out to the Texas 8 this year. Hope some more of you decide to make the trip down and have a blast of a weekend with the rest of us!

April 1st to 3rd and we have a hotel all picked out that is blocking our rooms for us. If you have any questions feel free to shoot me a PM or I am sure Renesisjim could answer any questions as well.

He has now decided not to sell his car, so I will be ordering a new cf hood. It will have to wait until after the Texas8 though. Sideskirts and rear bumper before the trip

The same one. I ordered it tonight. It is the last one Seibon had, they are discontinuing the matte finish. They also have one oem style matte hood left. I'm glad I contacted them. Guess it was meant to be. I asked if they would make me a KS hood with the matte finish, but he said no. Now to get my Tsunami skirts and my AIT rear bumper.

 

VIS and Seibon hoods are the same. They come from the same plant, and are built by the same people. The only difference is the serial number they put on it. So if Seibon doesn't have it, you could try VIS, and if you need that Seibon name just switch your seriel number plaque from one to the other, its just a rivet.

 

OK thanks Jim. Ill let u know when I'm ready to paint My lights. I want my brows takeing Off my headlights. Will my oxidation on my lights show threw when I her them smoked? I kinda want to go like a shadow lighter than yours. And my system will be in my way to take out my lights. Bah.
