Did the dyno day ever happen? Where was it gonna be at? I'd be interested if I'm welcome. I saw a Camaro might go. Figured it wasn't just rx guys.

 

Jenifer...have you tried replacing the radiator cap? Also, you shouldnt be getting SO hot that you are boiling out of the radiator. Does this happen every time you drive? If so, plan a day to come to Tulsa and we will hook up my Scangauge to your car and have you go drive for a little while and get a true reading of what temp your car is running at since the stock gauge is a dummy gauge. Another thing to try would be to do a mixture of coolant/water instead of straight coolant for the summer months. I would also check the thermostat and make sure its not sticking. For Mazda to tell you there is nothing wrong, I would tell them you refuse to take the car back until they fix this. They may be denying there is an issue because they do not want to do the warranty work.

 

im coming into town this tuesday. im meeting up with carlos around 12:30.. ill be into town earlier tho.. so if ur free tho that will work. yeah we tryed a new cap did nothing.. and yeah everyday it builds too much pressure. im not for sure where the actual normal level is in the rx8.. iv never had to monitor it before.. i was looseing coolant and couldnt keep it in my car now its holding coolant to what i can tell. it hasnt lost it in over a week.. but now im struggling with it building up crazy amounts of pressure. if you run tha ac it builds up faster than ever.. the longer the car is on the more and more it builds. it comes through the vents in the car. its a real thick coolant smell.. my number is 918-397-1295 if ur free let me know.. i just want this figured out.. and mazda well.... i might end up n jail if i go back there anytime soon....

@ The joker: The dyno day was supposed to happen like over a month ago, but some thing came up and not enough people were interested so it was canceled till a later day which has yet to be decided on.

It was going to be somewhere on Riverside... I'm not totally sure of the exact location. Corey said he was interested in trying to do it again, but haven't heard anything as of yet.

I talked to Corey about the dyno day. It fell thru do to no interest. We will have to get 15 cars to have the dyno day

I saw the same 8 2x today. Once at 11th and Yale and then parked in front of me at target. Figured I leave a nite with our fb and rx8club pages. It was nice ss with black oem wheels and badges.

 

The Sunday cruise has been cancelled do to lack of interest and participation. The next foreseen meet will be in sept at import faceoff. If interest is shown we will reschedule the eureka springs run. Sorry to those that were planning on making the trip

Hello to all, Ive been a member of RX-8 club for a couple of months. Have been lurking here WAY before then. There is a TON of information on here, and never had the need to post a question on here But iv'e decided to start getting a little bit more involed here. especially since i had no ideaa there were sooo many members here in Tulsa. My name is Alex, and i have seen a couple of your guy's rx8's here in tulsa. Ummm not to be weird or anything but i would see Jim (alot) when i worked at the body shop across the street from Street dreamz (on peoria) but never thought he would be a member here. I have also seen QT dude at (where else) QT haha. You guys have some Bad *** cars. I have a Velocity Red '04 rx8. I have had the car for a little more than a year now, with close to, 61,000 miles. Totally stock right now, but hopefully will change that soon. Im also interested in buying parts from other members, (one of the reasons i want to get involved here.) All in all im a VERY happy RX-8 owner and plan to be for a long time hehe.

Alright guys, I have some parts coming up for sale. I have my Agency Power Cat-less mid-pipe which is brand new never made it into my old 8, wanting $210 for it. And I will also be pulling my MazdaSpeed lowering springs off the car, not sure what the mileage is on them, so I will just take an offer atm. Wanted to post in here first in case anyone in T-Town wants first dibs.

 

I would love to have the mid-pipe...however since someone keyed the **** out of my baby, I now have to get a new paint job There was something else though that you had that I was wanting...just cant remember what
