I do everything. Airbrush and Body. My website is just now getting up and running but it will have a gallery of some of my projects I have done. The coolest one is a 2009 fatboy I did for a green beret. KJRH did a story on it but since he was in special forces he said he couldn't do it. They are really strict about that. Plus he is a very private person. doesn't like a lot of attention like that.

 

After I purchase my seibon TS hood. I will be interested in getting a flaming rotor airbrushed in it. Would be great to use a forum member.

 

Sweet! Well I got a old truck. A 79 ford courier that I'm fixin up. I gotta get some rust spots fixed then ill be ready for paint. I want it black. And the exact same black they put on the rx8s. Its a small truck. A lil smaller than rangers. Single cab short bed. About how much would somthing like that cost? I know you can't pin point me a price but a round about is ok. Idk what paint jobs go for any more.

 

Hey jim, I'm getting rid of the carbon fiber look, so I'm pulling off my cf eyelid on the light where about can I find solid black ones? I want to do a straight black hood also and I'm takeing off my cf on the door. I just want black n pink lol

 

Race roots kei replica eyelids or check eBay. You will want to have them painted here so that they can match the paint.

Looks like I'm sending my engine to BHR to have Charles do the rebuild. We just have to finish the details. Will let you know what we decide to do. Carlos will be doing the un/install for me.

Okay this sat is the car show here n our town my buddy calon n I are going to enter our 8s. And yes my lovely husband is entering his truck! There is a spot for every vehicle.

 

Wow I would be more than happy to do some paint for everyone but i am really booked up for the next three months or so but afte i get pat a few projects i currently have going (Honda CRX, console for a mustang, My engine cover :-) and a 4 wheeler) we can jum on these. Probably be around the end of August. I do this as a hobby. I main income (the boring job) is a senior draftsman. (I do structure design and 3d modeling) I will have so pics posted at my site probaly tonight. I will post a link after I get them up.

 

Well if i can get some cars moved around i have room to put two maybe three on stands safely. We do other cars, i have a heavy jack and at least three sets of stands, I have Air too, but like i said i dont have smooth pavement for like a creaper and you will want to bring your tick repellant. Oh i too have a grille and plenty of grass for ppl to park in that is not working on their cars

Oh and one more thing. I am working on getting some affiliates on my stie for parts for imports. We can get some free shipping discounts stuff like that. The eyelids are usually carbon fiber or fiberglass. You would take them to a body shop and have them painted to match your car. Then they are applied with double sided 3m tape to the headlight. A cheaper route would be to lay some black vinyl on the headlight and trim to shape it the way you want it.

Looks like Charles and I have decided to use NRS ceramic apex seals, mild exhaust port, and a sohn. Engine will also be painted blue. Let's hope everything goes smoothly. I'm having to take a loan out to get this done right the first time. I also will be adding Racing beat header and guages with a mishimoto radiator. WIth a good tune from MM (glad I bought that in March) I should be happy w/o boost for awhile. We hope

Awe sweet. Thank u woogie I have eyelids on there but there are the cf look. Like jim said they all come that way! Is there a way to paint them on the car? Since I alredy have some on there? I just thought u bought a color lol.

 

Nd, if u wouldn't mind ur place sounds awsome I know I'm doing my calipers, really! Said soemething about doing hers. I think it was just us 2 wanting caliper paint done. Idk tho! But I would like to do it soon it would be awsome to get it planned out. Ill need to know in advance tho so I can order in my G2 paint.

Please, please, please go thru Autotrader instead of just going out to a dealership, or at least if you find one at a dealership you like write down the vin # and then go to autotrader and look it up on there thru that dealership to see what they're bottom dollar is on it. That way they don't weasle you out of more $ than you need to be paying. Anyways happy hunting and let us know what you find!

 

Woogie I may need to take you up on the tire thing soon. ND noticed that one of my rear tires is getting pretty bald in the center. Plus i am wanting to look into getting some winter tires for my 8 but won't do that until the fall.

 

Not a problem let me know when because they are always sending out new deals and discounts. Walmart will put them on for $7 a tire also. If don't like them i can get you a list of tirerack certified installers and they will do it also.

 

Yeah i can do that. I can tape everything off and use an airbrush and paint them.

You can buy them prepainted but it probably isn't going to match with sun having already faded the paint on your 8 a little. It's just easier to match that way.

I ordered my NRS ceramic apexs seals today. $950 plus shipping. They won't be ready for 4-6 weeks. I got the last set available from this batch. I'll start a thread for my build as soon as my seals get here.

 

Hey, found a car, but got a question.

Pushing the right dash button changes your speedo from mph to km/h. Does it also change your odometer and trip computer? The car im looking at shows 63,000 on the clock, but is in km/h mode and i need to know if that changes. It's in dallas or i would check myself.

 

it will change, i have mine set to KPH/KM but switch it back once it a while to MPH/MI to check mileage
