I've been running stealth mode,just checking in now an then on how your meetings have been progressing.The road trip to Austin appears to be on schedule.....man thats fantastic you all are working hard it seems to make this gathering a major success,with all the influx of people geared to go it will be something great. My plans are to be up there at Pace Bend park with some close friends on the weekend of the 22nd and would like to hook up with your posse thats headed in.But unfortunately and I hope not, my plans may be cut short if I get the word that I may have to deploy back overseas again suddenlyand miss the big riot.:p Later

OK, it looks like we are having the meet around 3 in the afternoon on Saturday. So far the only option for location is Vans. Is that central enough for everyone and is there enough room there? Anyone with an address or map can you please post for that location. If there is a better suggestion please post.

Which Vans did you say was good to meet at? I noticed they had a couple locations???? Still trying to come up with a meet spot for the big meet in the afternoon but not getting much responce. Also PTP is cancelled so we need to find something to do :D

A reminder on the walkie talkies--does anybody have them? I know I'll have 3 pair and Jenkins has a pair (maybe more? not sure) as well. Dig around guys, ask co-workers if you can borrow!!! Talking to Garlandrx last night, they sounded like a huge help during an RX7 drive (people falling back after gas, pulling over, stuck in traffic, etc.). It would be great if we could gather enough for everyone, or at least those who don't have/can't use cell phones. We can make sure they're all compatible at the Rig.

If you want to take a ride down a fun set of roads you should try Volente / Lime Creek. Lots of Up / Down transitions with some nicely banked hair pin turns and long sweepers.
