well i might be staying at my friends place down there. i hope that doesn't hinder any plans. i'm always trying to save some money. spent a good amount down in padre and i'm about to buy a daily driver so i don't put as many miles on the 8 anymore.

One set of 2ways I'm borrowing is Audovox w/a 2 mile radius. Not sure on the other 3 sets but I can find out.

Okay folks it is exactly one month until deploy. Has anybody received their Omni certs yet? Is everybody ready I tell you what I really wish I could just go jump in the 8 right now, take it to the carwash, fill the tank, and just drive.... oh and pick up one of my hottie-*** co-workers on the way out the door :D (if I'm gonna wish I may as well get my moneys worth :D )

 

As of yesterday's mail, I have not received my cert.
I currently have 2 sets of radios in my possession, the rest will be soon. One set is GE, the other is Cobra.

 

Good News!! I called all of the local Mazda dealerships in the DFW area I could find and got "it'll be our pleasure" to post signs for the trip next month. :D Since we haven't heard from Weininaustin on being the POC on the flyer, I'm volunteering. Jenkins, will you update your flyer with my info? I'll update mine.

Hey Tiffany! Some of those dealerships may even be willing to mail out the flyers to their current 8 owners. My dealership here did that for me because the manager has the attitude "anything to help Mazda".
