Sweet! The more, the better! I have to enjoy this trip... this will be the closest to a vacation I've had in a long time. Are the rooms going to be by eachother?

 

Not sure, but we can request it when we check in. Maybe we can be on the same floor. I know that they were getting close to filling up when I made my reservations last month. And if we want all the rooms close, it'll just depend on the hotel layout since we have 2 deluxe and 2 suites.

 

Didn't you and NO make seperate reservations? Maybe yall should check to get the rooms beside each other before we get there....

 

Yeah, we made separate reservations. I just called them and requested that our rooms be next to each other so we'll see how it goes.

Nyt-Owl, don't forget to call later this week about the bed thing. I just checked and she said that it hadn't changed, but since you were a club member you get first priority.

While this thread was closed, a couple suggestions were made for items to be brought for the trip:

extra towels
pillows
sheet if sleeping on an air matt
bathing suits
any fun games (cards and drunk jenga already coming)
there will be 2 coolers to keep beverages cold during the trip
your "beverage" of choice for drinking while at the hotel

I have the third set of walkie's so I'll bring those Tuesday.

 

By the way, I'm having to work that Friday, but I will still be able to make it afterwork for the meet-up at The Rig, so count me in. By the way, can we all be sure to fill-up on gas before going to The Rig? This would help out alot.

 

From what I remember, the Rig wasn't too far down on 35 so we were all going to fill up before leaving there.

 

I also have the 2 twin size air matresses and the 1 double. Which one did yall need NO?

 

How do we handle paying for the rooms and all? Is there anyone sync'ing that up?

 

Well I figure anyone staying in Tiff and NO rooms can just pay them. As for the Executive suites I will have to ask Jackie.

 

I was thinking the same thing.

 

All our CC's will be imprinted at check-in. We can inform the hotel staff at check-in that the room(s) will be split.

Hopefully this won't be an issue for them!!!

Jackie said we will discuss this on thurday at BJ's...I don't think we should let them know how many peeps will be in room. I am bringing cash for my room for Tiff.

 

They will charge extra if there are more people in the room. That's why Nyt-Owl's quote was more than mine: he said there would be 4 and I said there would be 2. I've never heard of a hotel splitting the bill, but there's a first time for everything. I think we'd be better off having one person pay and the others pay that person. We also need to be careful during check-in. That would be very odd if 4 people check in and 15 people are standing by waiting......

 

Yeah..the people getting the rooms need to go in and then come back and get us and we will find a different entrace or trickle in :D

Has anyone looked at the map and have any thoughts for the return back? Maybe there are some key points of interest that would make for a good place to rest and BS.
