Recall.. should i do it?

So when i last went in to Munday Mazda, or something.. i see that i have
1) lifetime free service (oil changes) or something.. but does this apply to me eventhough i am the 2nd owner

2) i have the voluntary emission recall not done yet, should i get it done? and i only have powertrain warranty left, so they said i can't get a rental car for free and i was wondering, would i have to pay any labor/repair cost? car is driving fine atm with occasional times that startup is not as easy as other (i attribute that to not warming the car enough before shutting engine off)

so ya,
Q1) does tat lifetime apply to me?
Q2) should i get that emission thing done?
Q3) cost
Q4) wats up with that latest flash thing? o.O.. i don't have "lack of power" don't know if that TSB applies.

Id have to check with the dealer about that last car i had it didnt transfere over to me but who knows it just might - yes on the emmissions cause your just getting less than perfect performance if you dont plus gas mileage plays a factor in it as with the Flash improves all of that also - seeing that its not under warranty the flash is free and emissions should be free also - if its a recall you dont have to pay for the work unless something else is wrong that they find i dont have TSB also but i still got the flash done , just think of it as a ECU software upgrade !! Even with power train warranty it sucks cause you still have to pay them to look at the car for it to be covered , Hope that answers your questions

i'd be concerned about that recall not being done by the first owner after all this time... that was the recall where they evaluate your engines health and had swapped alot of peoples engines..

the guys at Premier in Geogetown can help you if you're north, if not, talk to Alan at Mazda south, he handled my engine replacement very smoothly.

man , damn service tech call joe refuse to do the msp16 for free/under warranty and won't even bother with it saying that it's probably cover under my emission recall... damn lazy bastard, won't even schedule just told me to bring it in whenever and wait a couple hours.

grrrr, any better dealerships in houston?
