By the way, I would like to announce that the monkey tradition was carried to South Padre with us. We spread the word Saturday night from one side of the island to the other. Sunday afternoon we were at the pool and some guy that I had no idea who was yelled "Monkey!" across the pool.

Oh, and I would like to take the time to thank Holiday Inn in South Padre for sponsoring my room... Here's the story:

I didn't have a room (I had planned on staying in a room with Jenkins). I showed up Friday evening and requested a room. I filled out the normal paperwork, gave them my Credit Card, and proceeded to my room. We stayed Friday and Saturday night. Sunday I went to check out. I have the lady my keys, and told her my room number and last name. Then she says "I'm sorry, that room was reserved by a different last name."

I said "I'm just trying to pay you and check out. Besides, I didn't have reservations." Then she asked how I stayed in the room. I told her I checked in, unlocked the door with the key they gave me, and slept.

Finally I left the keys and walked out. They have yet to charge me for the room.

 

Slim, have ya'll been able to mount one of those touch screens where the stereo is at in the 8; or is that something that the company you work for even contemplating for a future release?

We are looking at several options. Currently I believe we are deciding on an option like I have, but with a 7 inch touchscreen. This may/may not eliminate the need to relocate the A/C controls.

 

BTW, Chris, do you have the newest pics that we took at your house? I don't have any good quality pictures if the dash yet.
