A rumor is floating around that a friend of mine might have some people over to chilly-chill while the ball drops...yaay, i might have plans. :P

 

It's not that important to ya'll, but I gathered up my courage this afternoon and applied for a job in San Diego. The hiring manager is out until Thursday though. I don't expect to hear anything until next week at the earliest.

On a similar but different note, I've been thinking about getting my own place lately and have decided that if I'm still here this summer, I'll get my own apartment. I'm kinda feeling like a grown-up!!

I do like it here. But I have to give myself the opportunity to see if I like California too. I love all of you guys SO much, but there's something that's pulling me west.

I only applied. I did the salary conversion thing again and I don't know if they'll be able to afford me either. We'll see.

I said I was afraid to find out what's next and I found out. I got my hair cut today and it's SHORT!!! She kept cutting and cutting and the next thing you know, there's a big pile of red on the floor. It has potential, but right now I'm in shock.

I should be there tomorrow, but it looks like something might be coming up...so i might not get to see the new hair tomorrow night...i guess worse case i get to see it saturday. I went to Cali 3 times last year and everytime I loved it each time more and more. I'm drawn to it. I want to live near the beach, I want to learn how to surf, I don't want cold weather. And I feel like something is missing in my life and that I won't find it here in DFW. I'm not saying I'll find it there either, but I have to try.

All good reasons to move to San Diego...two things i've learned about living there...you will get paid less, and you will end up in a smaller place...but the bonus... The BEACH!!!!

well, the water isn't warm during the winter...but there is so much to do in So Cal it doesn't really matter...it's well worth the trade.

 

I've never been there before, but I had a friend move to San Diego because he's getting married, and so far he loves it.

I might be going down for the wedding unless I start a new job by then, which there might be good possibilty of. I would really like to see what's so cool. I"m not a big beach person though, but I'm sure there's plenty other stuff to do.

holy crap....this site is still up and running!!! long time no see or talk to. just thought i would say whats up to everyone. between work, working on the car, and my DJing...well i haven't had much time for anything...and i have a girlfriend now...kinda happened unexpectedly but thats how it goes sometimes.

i'm gonna try to make it out to the meet saturday. car won't be ready but oh well. i just ordered my exhaust, intake and ecu...and all my black emblems and side markers. should be getting the windows tinted tomorrow or saturday, and then the system goes in next week!!! can't wait to show her off...oh and by the way i'm keeping my car.
