make some hinges so that when you hit a dip or something the bumper will swing up a little bit

 

It's really the skirts that worry me. The kit is going on no matter what. I'll just park on the first floor.

 

polyurethane skirts are pretty flexible idk if the vertex are made of frp or what

my skirts have taken lots of abuse, i mean this was a really strong force that finally knocked this one off

Ha Thanks for the concern Rev. I'm getting back into the swing of things. I just got back to my home base from a very remote fire base. (I just read that Nat Geo did a show on it... how odd).

Got my 30 day temp plates earlier... now I just need the car. When I called earlier, the update they had said he was in houston, so they're expecting it'll probably be tomorrow, but maybe today. I'd imagine that it wont be today since I haven't heard anything yet, but who knows. I know I wont complain if it shows up today.

 

Cool, I had a bit of a mixed bag of a weekend. I found out my childhood best friend was tragically killed in Hawaii over a dispute in a marijuana farm he was involved in. We hadn't talked much in the past 10 years but it was still very upsetting. Almost all of my elementary and middle school memories involve him so even though we were not really close as adults due to the distance it still hit me surprisingly hard. It was good to hang out on Friday at Biff's though and my mom came into town over the weekend so it took my mind off of things.

 

Did footwell lights on the wife's car and did the under hood/trunk lights on mine...
