Yep thats her. A lot of people don't like the new body style compared to the old but Mitsubishi has gone away from rally racing so the body style and set up reflect that a lot. This thing is loaded too, bluetooth, keyless entry, rockford fosgate system. Jus wish it had a sunroof

My buddy has had three EVO's, they are good cars. Are you getting the dual clutch automatic?

Yea the MRs only come with the SST tranny. I drove it and it shifts a lot faster than mine. Also has a launch control feature, but I hope to not use that too much. First thing i'm buying is an accessport lol. Hopefully ya'll will allow me to hang out still, I already know that every other car group is gonna be shady. rotary owners ftw haha

Yeah the EVO guys are okay but be careful, my friends last EVO was stolen and stripped after he went to a meet. He thinks it was guys he met there (he had a ton on mods, wheels, etc.)

Try not to get addicted to the modding for warranty sake. It's easy to get sucked in when power is so easily made, The dual clutch is great, almost like the SMG. My buddy had the previous gen MR with the six speed.

You are always welcome to hang dude.

Damn so they aren't very hard to steal or what? With the AP I hope to use the lockout feature when parking in shady places. Damnit scott now you got me all paranoid haha.

I plan on doing the AP and catback only for now for the sake of warranty. I honestly don't plan on going more than 350awhp, cause anymore than that the tranny has to be upgraded, and that stuff is SUPER expensive.

I dunno if they are easy to steal, but they found out where he worked and stole his car from the Conn's parking lot on Military.

Been waiting for this for a while but my body shop wanted a better idea of what I mean instead of doing it free-hand. Heres the mod that Im going to be doing to my VERTEX Replica front.... I got the Idea from an old, old, old picture of Acosta Motorsports 3 Rotor RX8 they did sometime back. I actually had the picture printed along with many other body kits before I got my RX8 in 05. Too many RX8's look a like now-a-days.. We/I need to start standing out, so I decided to do nothing but custom mod/paint scheme from now on. (not custom power mods because thats just stupid ex: DIY Home depot Intake) Anyways heres what I got so far, and what Im going to be taking to my body shop right now.... The Rotor is To Scale I believe.....I've held a rotor before from an FC and from what I remember its pretty close.. (8x11 paper)

That's actually pretty cool looking... are you planning to make it functional in some way? What intake do you have/do you plan to have?

Yes I do plan on making it functional and positioning it in front of the Stock Air box where it would connect to the VFAD.... and do some brackets to hold some duct in place from the bumper where the Air Duct is/would be. Also put a screen at the duct opening like they did to keep larger objects out (leaves, pine needles/ bigger bugs). Right now I have the Stock Air Box... I plan on keeping the stock air box and doing some tubing similar to what they did with their 3 rotor.... that clamps on to stock air box..... heres some more detailed pictures and what it would look like on a Darker COLOR...

Not feeling it. I think there should be a little contrast in a car. Everything being one color makes it where nothing stands out and it just looks like a blob to me. It's your car though so my opinion really means nothing.
