That's annoying. I was worried about being able to make the state meet because of a trip that was already being planned till I realized the meet was early may, not june. More annoyingly, it's just as finals start. I think my finals are later in the week though, so it might/hopefully wont be an issue.

 

Ok all the stereo stuff came in for the wife's car. I will start on the installation Saturday about 10:30 am if anyone wants to come by PM me and I will send you my address...

So Funny story: The other day while driving my 2009 Nissan Altama 2.5s on post I pulled up to a Stryker combat vehicle at a stop light. I look up from my well bolstered driving seat at the Stryker vehicle commander and gave him a courteous nod. The commander looks down and me and the guy gave me two nods...... IT WAS ON~! I slipped the gear selector lever from auto to manual mode and waited for the light to turn greeeen. All the sudden I hear a loud roar next to me and the Stryker got a jump on me just as the light turned. I Gunned her hard and ended up pulling on the Stryker it was SWEET I smoked him like sausage.

So, it was one of those nights. Girlfriend is visiting family, have plans with some friends tomorrow and others were busy. I literally did nothing but go to class. So I decided to go for a drive and have some fun.

I saw a grey 8 going down bandera when I was toying around with a pontiac (sunfire I think?) with a loud *** exhaust (ok, not as loud as mine). After that, I was having a bit of fun on 10. Ran through 3rd gear and shifted to 4th. I let off at about 110 and noticed a HUGE flash behind me followed by ridiculously loud backfire.

I need to do that again with someone recording it.

hey guys, i was wondering what should i do with my car,

it been rough idling like an other common prob with the rx8 lol.
i changed the plugs and wires so maybe coil packs?
the engine light blinks on and off when i haul *** but idk what to do. i dont think i have carbon build up cause i haul *** all the time and i been cleanin it out with carb spray.

i hope its nothing serious. i only have 46k miles on it

 

i have my own ob2 code scanner and it just pulls out cylinder one misfire ( which i know it has no cylinders) lol.

so should i just change two coils ?

 

How many miles on the coils? I would just change all 4 out...

I would change them then...also clean the MAF sensor

I have a used set I could sell you they are still good... they came off my wife's LY. I changed her coils and plugs because of a loss of power issue which turned out the engine was bad and then replaced under warranty...LMK
