Anyone free tomorrow afternoon? Thinking I might try and knock the spacer out of the way cause I have stuff to do this weekend. I should probably wait, but I'm impatient lol.
edit: posted quite a bit after midnight, but tomorrow afternoon = friday afternoon lol

Anyone available today? I'm literally on the last step and it's being a pain in the ***. All I have to do is get the RB blue connector piece in and it just wont quite make it.
Thanks. Crh replied and told me to give him a call so he might have a tip but it's probably still a tight fit. Out with my g/f doing a couple things really fast so should be back soon and I'll give him a call
I saw someone else who installed the spacer and the accordion tube was fully compressed.
1. mount the NOS nozzle in the spacer while it is off the car
2. leave intake and accordion tube in tact attached to throttle body
3. unbolt throttle body
4. move throttle body forward
5. slip in spacer/gaskets between throttle body and UIM
6. install extended bolts and remount throttle body
7. done
That could work, but I think that would be just as tough. Can you access the bolts for the throttle body with the accordion part on? I would Exocet it to be in the way but I'll have to take a look. Either way I think it would be just as difficult that way, if not more so. I'm thinking I'm going to wait till someone else can give some input
Anyone free sometime this week/upcoming weekend? Since it isn't really a required thing it's not too much of a hurry, but it would be nice to get done. If I can't get it to fit then I'll most likely just decide to uninstall and sell the whole kit since I dont use it that often anyways.
Will do. G/f is out of down over the weekend so I should be free for most of the day. I just started a thread to see if the RB intake with the MAF tube is longer than stock... if it is, that would explain why I'm having so much trouble getting it to fit.
Not quite as surprising, but that is a fair amount of snow for the time of year. The last 2 or 3 years I lived in dallas we had a bit of snow stick each year. Really the only surprising thing is how late it is. Hard to believe I was walking around in a T-shirt yesterday afternoon.
so i arrived in the school parking lot this morning and as i was going over a speed bump i hear a loud *clunk* so I get out and look under my car to investigate. This is what i saw:

the ******* free rotating flange that connects the connecting pipe and the midpipe somehow came loose! So now im waiting for a shop down the street to open up. To top it all off I got an Accounting test at 9! FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Call Mike De Leon at Loredo Body and Paint at 210-732-8892. he will probably need to see it though to give an accurate quote but i would say about $300.00-$400.00. Tell Him Dr. Samaniego's office referred you.
300-400 total for everything???? damn thats a steal in my book. i was expecting like $1500. i got that number from another forum, but that may have been diff circumstances and i wasnt the one asking. Thnx guys, im deff. gonna put a move on this then deff. Thnx for the reff. and ability to use a name. Hopefully see yall around state meet time frame! "DOC T"
I am just guessing but they do all the Porsche dealer work (you will see if you stop by) so they are legit. I am guessing on the price so don't quote me but if there is no body work then it is just a quick spray for them

Hell it could be worse, you could be mooching rides like me
