I'm trying to get some bills paid up as well so I can take the L1 class and get some sessions in.
Cool man. Can't wait to get you out there!

The new tires are pretty sick...insane sticky...even for a 3/4 speed heat cycling session. Now they are curing for the next week...prolly gonna take her out this coming weekend and run at full speed to see what they can really do.

Yeah I have to get moving on some of this stuff. Mainly the shocks and rear rotors/pad need to go on. But I need to focus, been getting way to distracted lately

That's a pretty good deal. Late christmas present for yourself?

So I had to have my battery replaced but since I had it done at the dealer last time, it was under warranty and such. So I got that done today, and drove from the dealer to get my inspection done. I was worried about the exhaust not passing since that single outlet puts off the smell a lot more. The guy comes in and says they're done. My car passed everything but emissions. Why? Because it wasn't ready due to the computer having been reset when they replaced the battery. Not sure why I didn't take that into consideration. They said I can bring it back to get it done for free within 15 days but I'm driving back to SA tomorrow.

If I remember correctly, I just need a few drive cycles, correct? He said to put about 100 miles on it, but does it really need to be that much? With the game coming on later and the fact that I'm going to be spending half the day driving tomorrow, I'd rather not drive around that much just to get it passed before I drive back tomorrow.

I'll pass if I can get the drive cycles on the car but not sure what I need to do to constitute a drive cycle. I'd do it in SA but since I already paid here I might as well try to get it done.

Yeah I kind of wish I went with the Tanabe Sustec coilovers on sale though. $700.00 is a sick price for good coilovers.

That's quite a list of things... might take a couple days depending on how smooth things go for a few of those.

I still need to order the coils and plugs so I can finally get that taken care of. I'll probably do that soon though I'm guessing at earliest it'll ship on tuesday.

I have a motive european brake bleeder that connects to the sump side...really cool. Makes fluid flushing a snap. I doubt it would fit the 8 but we could give it a try.

I have been alternating the ATE blue and yellow on fluid changes every other track day...seems to be good, although I may have actually boiled it a time or two...a weird pedal response when I really got on it for an extended period.

I will likely switch to Motul 600 or Castrol SRF...something that boils at a temp higher than 536 degrees. I have gotten readings off the front calipers a little over 500deg before...hard to say what the temp of the fluid on the inside is...but i bet it is getting close if not over.
