I want to replace my headlights but they are so freakin' expensive. My goal is to replace them when I get the body work done.

If they are just really nicked up or yellow I have had REALLY good results with the 3M headlight restoration kit (sandpaper kit). My headlights were really messed up and it made them look so good after I got done.

 

thats what I did, at first I was like "what have I done" but the final results are amazing and I just hand buff them every 3rd or so wash

 

The entire headlights. They get hazy even a few weeks after I resurface them. I want to get new ones and then have them Laminexed.

 

That's shitty. I really need to get a new windshield. After the last Ozarks cruise my **** is JACKED. I had gone 3 years with no chips or cracks, then I got 5 on that trip that were big enough to need filling. But there are so many countless others that it makes it look like someone sprayed a sprite on my windshield.

I drive to work like this -.- because the sun is right in my eyes and refracts off of every little chip. Safelite says they will replace for $289 w/o going through Ins.

 

Yeah my windshield cracked as well. It's on my short list but damn it's expensive. Not worth paying my deductible though.

 

I had a local guy, RNR Glass I think that did mine. I washed my car on a hot day and it broke then I blamed it someone who tried to break in.

yes sir! I really wish I had taking photos but I was soooooooooooo pissed off I didnt think of it

 

I resurfaced min and haven't waxed them for a while they seem to be holding their shine!

 

I just installed new plugs/wires/coils last night. If anyone needs leftovers of what I took out everything was working fine when removed. I'm sure you all have similar stores of that crap as well.

I have some low mile OEM coil packs as well. BHR Ignition is sitting on the work bench to install when I rebuild my motor!!!

 

Sounds like SARX needs to have a windshield replacement party. Mine is about due as well.

Where did you drive up in the Ozarks? I go up there a few times a year... some of the best driving I have ever seen.

I noticed something that actually made me a little sad today...

That FB in my parking lot is gone. It was here when I got back in town and I know it's been there most of the time since I got back. It might have been moved in the last couple days, but I'm pretty sure it was moved sometime yesterday or today.

I guess the good news is that the spot is now open for use. Parking can get a little crowded here lol.
