great vid, I have always wanted to do that but in a rally car way. We have some amazing secluded dirt roads our at our farm that would be GREAT rally roads....small ditches, little traffic and no cops

That's part of the beauty of using a beater... I'm sure they still have mechanical work to worry about, but I'd imagine they aren't too concerned about a lot of the body damage lol.

1600 Copper nose Bluegill
400 Red Ear Sunfish
100 Bass
200 Channel Catfish
20 Grass Carp
bazillion minnows
possibly some threadfin shad

at its funny all those fish are not much more expensive than the 13 wild caught discus and 125 tetra I have in my fish tank at home

On my parents farm, we dug a 1/2 acre pond. We stocked it with Bass, Bluegill & Sunfish that we caught elsewhere. It became over stocked after a while. We were catching fish without baiting the hook, pulling them out and feeding them to the farm cats.

Yea we have a couple 1/2 acre ponds at my parents that were sort of the same scenario. The summer droughts took care of that problem though I doubt we have any fish left. Oh well my brother is building a much larger pond on his new property but it probably won't get finished before I'm 30.

Pond management is a freaking science, this is our 2nd go around, the first time we "over stocked" plus we didn’t harvest enough fish so it became over populated...every once in a while you would catch a 5-8lb bass but most of them were 2-3lbs and skinny as hell. needless to say we drained it over the winter and it is just now filling up. when I get home I will attach a few photos

Our pond is spring feed. The problem we have is too much water (it is in Michigan after all). It was a piece of land that the tractors would always get stuck in. What else can you do but dig a pond?
