yeah fun wrenching is way better than dealing with broken crap or being forced into repairs. I'm stoked on the coils and wires, can't wait to put those in but it's like a million degrees out so I might wait until later tonight to start on it. (they're a really cool dark blue color too) I can't wait to drive it with new wires and everything all situated properly, should run a lot better since I had used smaller wires (well 8mm anyway) before just as a temp solution to keep it running, should b a lot more fun to drive once I'm done

started a lttle bit on it last night but the heat and my other hobbies (namely building a new r/c body ) took over for a bit. I'm building a '56 F100 rock crawler using this body -

(Mine won't be painted like this, I haven't mapped out the paint job yet)

Your shoes look like the orthopedic kind with Velcro straps in place of the laces. I can see you standing like this in your orthopedic shoes yelling at the kids to get off your lawn.

I think this was right around the time when we all Really caught the bug. Its crazy when I look back.. this pic is not all that old.

, Just photoshop in some gras and kids, and I think you are right My bug hit when I got divorced and stopped having someone dictate my every move

My ex wife hated my love for cars. When I sold my Civic she was so happy. It really pissed her off when I bought the 8, I just went to the dealer at lunch and came home with it

had the same with my ex-wife, she was all good while we were dating than once she sealed the deal the devil in her came out, lucky for me she just up and abandoned me one day or I'd probably still be trying to make that marriage work, (I don't give up on things too easily, even when it's for my benefit lol) and my car would probably still be stock if i even got to keep it at all. (doh!) I'm way stoked on how it's running now, my stereo is in pretty bad shape and I have some other work to do (probably going to have to drop the exhaust, my heat shield in the back is rattling, I've tried tightening it and one side is in good shape, other side not so much) but it's getting there, sucks not having the support I used to have but oh well, I've been playing with cars since high school regardless of who was friends with me at the time, and I'll keep doing it until I either can't afford to do it anymore, or I'm just not physically capable.

Possibly do you have data logs comparing the stock one to the aluminum one. Preferably data logs that are taken in the same weather conditions humidity and distance?

Kidding...

Whats the cost?

^ There you go. I didn't bother painting it or coating it but I might later. Fitment was perfect though. He can't do aluminum welding.
