On one hand, doing it at night is great because you can easily tell if an oncoming car is around the corner. On the other hand, that **** is dark as fuuuuck and I could see outrunning your headlights being a scary problem.

I'd love to try it though...lol

 

It's the deer that concern me.

 

Hell no, Grungepup and I have driven out there at night (not voluntarily, I broke a belt) and it is not fun. It is dark a hell, so you can't see ****. Hitting a deer would be a good possibility.

 

That's why we've never done a Friday night run as part of the Texas 8. I looked at doing one the first year or two, but decided it wasn't worth it.

 

Running canyons at night, blind turns, 500 ft drops...

That's fun for me.
