Well, looks like I'll be putting new sparkplugs in this weekend. Current plugs have about 27K miles on them, so I'll be changing plugs and oil on saturday.

 

Well i'm ordering my coilovers today. Should be here next week....i hope...

I'm down for whatever, but we need to all get out and do something.

Also i think i can get a bunch of other mazda owners from the area *non RX8* to come hang.

 

UPS confirms the expected arrival date is friday, so I'm working on the car this weekend.

Man, we should see what the local miata peeps are up to. They manage to find fun roads. I think the 8s will do a nice job of hanging, although I know my miata outhandled my 8.

 

my coilovers should be in early next week. And i'll be installing by my buddy's house in folsom..... PLENTY of nice roads to get the setting right on.

 

Well i was on 610 earlier heading toward the east, and saw a Gray RX8 with the mazdaspeed wing, 4th brake light, and the chrome mazdaspeed emblem *the one u buy on ebay*. Anyone know him?

We tried to get him to look over so we could ask if he was on the forum but he wouldn't look, even when i honked. *I was in the work truck BTW*

Plugs came in today. Hopefully the weather holds up tomorrow so I can do oil, plugs, and wash. My car is f'ing filthy.

Oh yeah...search on here for puddle lights. I'm going to get a set.

yea i was considering them, not sure what color to get. Thinking white or blue since my car is WB.

and about the puddle lights, I dunno. Zoom44 is verifying that hes actualy sending them i guess. *shrug*

 

I think you need the bypass valve or whatever in case you get water in the intake. I sealed up my RB intake and Bill mentioned that might not have been a good idea because if water gets in, it may go into the engine. Without sealing it, the water should get out through the gap that is normally sealed. Is this making sense?

Zoom verified it as a group buy. I have no clue why they need to do that.

 

oh u mean the flexible rubber bypass valve is there. i was thinking of something else. hehe

My intake also come with a waterproof screen that goes over the filver. *basically its a sock that goes over it, in which it doesn't let water through it amazingly*

 

That's good. With the RB ram air, I just don't drive thru water. Pretty simple idea, actually. ;p

 

lol, i don't drive *with any speed* through water. Or through water more a couple inches deep, and after i put my coilovers on sunday *thats if i actualy get them today like they promised me last night.....******* UPS*, i won't even drive through that much water.....lol

meh...your day could have been as screwed up at mine. I found out at about 7PM that Helm paint sold me 11 gallons on the wrong paint. It's $35/gallon. Another set back...I'll get in the house one day.

Yesterday i turned down a free ticket to the saints game to put my suspension on at my buddy's house and to help find out what was wrong with my boy nick's car *he went to corr to have it tuned and they fucked it up*......its on nostreet, can't miss it lol.
