Any news of a meet? They got a show in metarie this weekend that I'll prolly be at. It's called pandemonium at lafreniere park if anybodys interested

I want to do a meet, but not sure on a good location or date...

 

I'm going to try to make the show in Metarie, I haven't been to that one before. For anybody that is interested I have a blue 8, if you are in the Hammond area then you might have seen my car. They have another blue one I've noticed, mine has rims, tint and Scrapin the Coast stickers on it.

 

Me to! Anytime is good for me but im not from new Orleans so I don't no any good spots either.

I haven't gone to a car show in Hammond, what kind is it. I know about the classic car show in the Hobby Lobby parking lot, I think the first Saturday of every month, if they still even do that one.

We can go to that same park in Metairie or by the lake, only 2 decent places I know. Maybe City Park? (Open to suggestions)

 

I saw a red 8 parked across the street from the Hammond police dept.

 

It's basically the same classic car show except it's in front east of Italy by the movies.

And I got a red 8. Excep mines got blacked out logos and taillights with black wheels

Decent meet places seem to be Lakefront across from Landry's, Kenner boat launch, and on Vets at Pei Wei (cuz Pei Wei is pretty good food). Also, a couple of years ago for the April Import Lakefront Meet, the 7s and 8s met at Fox and Hound in Elmwood.

1.3 suggested 8/5 and that sounds fine to me.

Plus 7/29 conflicts with MotoGP at Laguna Seca. Not missing that. So sad we are not going this year.

If anyone wants to watch MotoGP, to eat SkwiddBurgers®, and to clutter my street with RX8s on 7/29, PM me. SpeedTV will (butcher the broadcast and) televise it live at 5pm. Honda needs to get their stuff together so Stoner can take first and cut into Lorenzo's lead in the points.
