Autumn Run - 3 Sisters

Let the planning begin!!!!!!!

Lets pick a weekend in Oct / Nov to do it.

Route will be the usual - San Antonio -> Bandera -> Medina -> Leakey -> 3 sisters -> lost Maples -> Home

If people are interested I can see about getting cabins in Leakey for the night. There is a great Italian place for dinner in Leakey and we could look at doing the whole camp fire thing. I have stayed at one of the cabin sites before and it was a pleasant event. We wouldn't be so rushed to get back to SA and take our time to get the apple ice cream.

i want to say i paid like 180 for the entire weekend.....

the cabin is barebone..... bed, restroom, shower, and fridge.... no tv or phone

if we can get atleast 4 to be up for cabins, we might be able to get a deal...... the later we do it in the fall, the less likely we will have bikers to compete with for the cabins

I am most certainly game for that...assuming I my engine holds together.

It has been running surprisingly well.

I am taking Wednesday off to do brakes, front sway, lowering spring and struts (along with led fogs since I'll have the nose off

I have decided that in addition to the turbo I will be installing a jet engine in my RX8 so I may be out of commission for a while too.

JetCart with Afterburner

Afterall, a jet engine is a rotary

I am thinking they needed Mobil Jet 2 and this engine would have lasted longer. 9K, will you set up the oil analysis? But i don't think that molten metal dripping out the exhaust is a good sign.

Might be a good engine replacement for 04RX8TX if that Chevy 350 doesn't work out?

I'm an avid motorcyclist that recently purchased an RX8 looking for a group of enthusiast to tour the Twisted Sisters in our Hill Country. Been out there several times on the Kawi and the Harley, would love to experience this in the Rex. Lemme know!

There's a Texas 8 meet for the 3 sisters at the end of April.
