TX Motorsport Ranch - Friday March 16

Hey everyone,

I'm going to a performance driving school Friday March 16 at Motorsport Ranch in Cresson, and I'm wondering if anyone else wants to come?

From what I can tell the class seems like a really professional and unique performance driving school.

I signed up for the Silver Package (Full Day) to bring my '07 RX-8.

Post here with any questions on the process. (I'll do my best to answer any). Or go to http://www.faasst.com/Registration.html and check it out yourself.

Look forward to seeing fellow RX-8 drivers!

Been out there several times. They are an outstanding group of people. I'll try and stop by even if I don't attend the track day.

Are they running the 1.7 or 1.3 mile course??

I'll be headed there for the NASA-TX weekend that starts right afterwards. You should consider sticking around and making a full 3-day event out of it You'd fit right in their HPDE program. Alot of other fun stuff going on between your sessions as well.

I'll probably have one of my MR2s out there, but if something goes wrong getting them ready I'll be running in Time Trials with the R3 instead.

Let me know if you want any more info about NASA-TX stuff - registration link, what to expect, etc.

I'm not entirely sure which course, I can check though.

I believe they also offer lapping for full/half day. I noticed that when I was registering.

fwiw NASA will be on the 1.7mi (unless you can qualify for their Time Trial group which will be on the 3.1). I would suspect the Fri day will also be on the 1.7 since alot of our racers have signed up for the Friday test day portion to get ready for the race weekend.

I'll be there with one of my MR2s for sure, won't have track wheels/tires for the R3 in time and the street tires are getting a bit thin.
