Just got off the phone with Pettit and they are waiting on the new batch to come in. We had bought their stock out and that is why we were shorted. They expected them to come in yesterday, but did not. If they come in today they will be shipped. I will Update everyone again once I have the tracking info.

I guess you could make your own decal too. It is not that complicated of a decal. You could even have a batch made for your local 8 club or something like that.
I am not the manufacture, so we take what they offer. Maybe you could have PoLak make a custom decal for em'?

after taking off the **** (took a couple of minutes to get the grip) i noticed some pins (about 8 of them) under the post. does anyone know what they are?
also, i noticed the rotory shaped **** does not recess as deeply as the plastic one and that makes it a bit wobbly. Will using the old d-ring help this?

Did you use the supplied "d" ring that was in the top portion of the bag?
If no and the bag is long gone... You can pull the one out of the OEM ****.
make sure you push either "d" ring deep into the shaft cavity of the Rotor ****. I used a pair of needle nose pliers with the **** held in my hand not to scratch the face.
Do NOT be fearful to use a good amount of pressure to insert the **** on the control shaft. The top of the base should fit flush with the radio's face plate surface. Just make sure you have the "d" ring aligned properly with the shaft before you start jamming it on.
As for the Pins under the ****.... I do not really know. My best guess is it is a diagnostic tool for the LED display, but that is only a wild guess!

I just got an email back from Bob @ Pettit and the ***** are in!!! they are shipping out to me today, so I should have them by late Thursday. I will ship all of the remaining Paid and Confirmed orders out Friday. I will begin creating shipping labels now for a Friday mailing.

Mark me as **** arrived, Dan. It arrived today and looks great but haven't installed it yet (nor my clear corners). I'm also still considering the black-back mod before putting it on, and maybe a different center-fill, decal or paint.
