Teamrx8 , Great Guy
I have had some bad luck over the years with my car and some of it was my fault, some of it was just bad dang luck. Long story short, I was ready to give it up totally. I was going to sell everything I had that was even related to my 8.
At some point you have to say "Enough is enough", right? I was very serious about it.
Well, someone stepped up and through their actions/help I am now keeping my car and the adventure continues.
Lots of folks gave me encouragement and understood what I was going through, but TeamRX8 took it a step further.
I never knew he had this much character. He now reminds me of the old style racers around my dads team back in the day. For example they would just as soon work on his car as they would their own kind of thing. Guess you had to be there?
He probably doesnt want this attention, but i had to shout out a "Thanks".

Well what ever he did or said to make you keep your RX8 is great. I was bummed you were getting rid of it, glad you worked everything out
I am still on the fence about TeamRX8 being a great guy though
But I am starting to get a feel for his antics though.

From my experience, I have to cast one in the "great guy" box. One of the DFW guys installed some stuff, and he showed up asking nothing in return and saved us a lot of time.

careful, you don't have it yet
I need some local DFW guys to help me lift it into the shipping container and then get that lifted into the back of my truck, I keep it at a storage area on the north side of Keller
like I said, the more I like somebody the more sh-t I give them, so this shouldn't be any surprise

Car blows up --> anger --> depression --> self doubt --> remorse --> SLEEP 3 DAYS (min) --> rejuvenation --> IDEAS --> energize --> rebuild --> RACE!!
It's great what a bit of time and friends can do. Lucky guy you are OD!
