I just filed a complaint on ic3.gov also, hopefully he gets what's coming to him. Poor kid probably doesn't even know his credit is going to be screwed by PayPal and is now going to be investigated by the FBI.

Internet fraud is a BIG crime. A Felony. Some people think nothing of it when they attempt to scam people.
"oh they'll never catch me, I'm on the internet". Little do they know. In these instances (dsire4u and DubbsLuvs8s) they both left big simple to follow trails leading right to them.

really sorry that you're going through this! one stupid member has to ruin it for everyone else, because everyones going to question the next time they buy a part from someone. I hope you get your money back, and he gets persecuted for his actions!

Sorry, to hear about your problem being a fellow canuck, if it's the same guy and I'm sure it is. Ran into to him on a few post, he's a condescending PR generally trying to start a fight. Sorry to say but you should of done more research on the person, from my experience people like him are better just to avoided. Buy anything online sure has it's up and down, but keep the faith most ppl's on the club seem fair and not out to scam anyone (generally a good bunch). Hope paypal gives you a full refund!

just got my money returned through my credit card company so i am pretty happy about that but it would suck to be him becasue they wont stop chasing him till they get there money

I just called my bank and PayPal.
My bank said I can file a complaint and get my money back from PayPal, but PayPal may file a grievance against me.
So I called PayPal and talked to their security team and the guy said "If you have the option of something like that, go ahead and do it" He also said "our collection team is going after him right now"
So I'll be filing my paperwork to dispute that transaction within a couple days, and hopefully have my money back in the next few weeks.
Good to note: I didn't pay with a credit card, it went through as an eft, but my bank will treat it the same way. (they asked if I had any other disputes, which I don't, but it makes me think there is a limit on how many you can do).

well that's good to hear hopefully it won't take a couple weeks and you can get it back right away but as long as it all works out and we all get are money thats cool

i just claimed to my visa.
i had to wait 30days to report item not received cuz it's the rule or sth.
i also need to wait 4~6 weeks.
how did you get your money back so fast??
