Wow - what a Nissan sale...

I just saw a commercial for Nissan's "A to Z" sale. They are offering either:
1. Double your cash down
2. Double your trade in.

That means you could get a brand new Z for about $15,000. Or, if you traded in your relatively new '8, you would actually MAKE money.

Not that I'm planning on doing it, though. Just got me thinking, if I had $15,000 to lay down I could buy one and then sell it a few months later, and actually make a few grand. That's a pretty good deal!

Hm, double your trade sounds scary...I have a feeling they either have a value cap on that offer or they refuse to give you any extra cash over the value of the car being purchased - if not both. With that deal, you could being in a $60K car and buy a Z and make about $90k off them - there HAS to be a catch.

Dealerships never lose money on a deal...it might look good on paper but in reality you won't save as much as you think. You have to be on your toes at these big sales events, more than usual.

Find a friend who knows their accounting, and have them come along. Couldn't hurt to try.
