SD Winter Driver...

I am on my way to pick up my winter car. Should be enough to get through all but the worst of South Dakota weather.

The car is a 1986 Subaru GL. Has all the options? I don't know what "Loaded" was in 1986, but it does have power doors/locks, 4wd HI/LO, 5 speed transmission, and 13" rims. Pics later.

PS. Not faster than the 8 by any means, except in the snow.

Other options I found out about:

Power Steering
Automatic Driver Window
Special Paint
Roof Rack
Rusty Muffler

Almost $13,000 in 1986. Not bad! Interior is in superb condition.

I can't imagine walking into a Suby showroom in 1986, looking at that brand new Suby box and going "yes, yes I would spend lots of money on this". That said, it looks mint for a wintered 1986 model, congrats!

Lol yea but that was because of the gas "crisis" (you know, when gas shot up to like a dollar a gallon ZOMG!@#) so they had to remodel some cars to be more "fuel efficient"
