86' Ford Thunderbird v8 (with straight pipes... lol)
94' Nissan 240sx (4cyl,auto)
95' Camaro Z-28--- I watched a garbage truck back into it from my living room window... that was a bad day...
95' Mazda Mx-6 LS v6 5spd--- Very understated car, I loved it from head to toe and could have never imagined ever selling it... and then there was the rx-8... To ease my own mind, I sold the mx-6 to my best friend who loves it just the same.

my first car was a 1994 Mazda Protege DX that I bought when I was 15 for $800. I drove that for 5 years & then sold it to a neighbor for $500, it had about 300k miles on it & still ran great, and that neighbor guy still has it and drives it.
Then I bought a 2006 Mazda3 s, it was totaled a couple weeks ago. I had that for 3 years and it only had 71k miles on it.
Now I have an 05 black rx8 gt w/ 58k miles.

Hey i had a 240sx. it was a great jump to the 8! i love my rx8 and i wudnt trade it for anything short of a GTR. the 8 handles amazing. its fun to work on. the community it cool too. They are a little fragile but where they lack in bullet proof engines they make up in handling and rareness. I hardly ever see someone else pass me in an rx8 and wen i do they usually wave. good luck, wish there were more on L.I

1991 Toyota MR2 Turbo: JDM swap, blah, blah, blah > 2010 RX8 R3: RE Amemiya Super Dolphin Tail after-cat, RE Amemiya Sport Catilyzer and I havent really looked back. I do miss the MR2 from time to time for simply being such a different breed of car but I dont regret my dicision to move onto the RX8. The only thing I can say against the RX8 is since its an 09+ I cannot seem to find the performance part options the 04-08's enjoy (unless I'm some how looking in all the wrong places). I cant even get a Cobb Accessport for this vehicle. Still, theres no other car I'd rather have at the moment.

My last car is Honda Accord 2006. I used it till 2009 and then I buy Honda Civic 2009.
It sound pretty good. But I miss my old car. Accord is my favorite car. But now the
company increase his prices and make is far from my budget. So that's why i decide
to buy the Honda Civic.

My wife and I had an 07 eclipse GS before the accident that got us the RX-8. My personal car before was a 1990 Miata, and I had an 86 MR2 before that. I miss both cars dearly.

I let go of the 2011 Accord on 10/1, for financial reasons. It was just pointless to be paying that much for a car. It's the first time in my life I've not wanted a shiny new car and the cost associated with it. Carmax gave me $1700 above payoff on the Honda (which went straight into the bank), and I bought a nearly immaculate 2006 Acura TSX from a different dealership for 11k + TTL. Even for being 5 years older, the TSX is built so much better. Quieter, rides smoother, MUCH better seats.
What it lacks in power (70HP down from the V6 Accord) it makes up for in finesse. Much less weight to move, and its Euro/Japanese roots are reflected in its great handling (for a FWD). Amazing that in Europe this was a run-of-the mill Honda Accord but in the US it's an entry-level luxury car. Talk about low expectations!
I don't regret this move at all. Wish I had done so years ago.
