1980 Honda Accord- after this car you can see I became an idiot then regained my senses in 2000
1984 Buick Sentry- engine caught on fire
1989 Ponitac lemons (LeMans)- rear axle fell off while driving that was an interesting day
1994 Oldsmobile Achieva- with the notorious GM quad 4 engine I just can't imagine why they went bankrupt
1996 Ford Windstar- not bad/not good
1999 Camry- I'm done with GM
2005 Sienna- Camry in disguise
2009 RX 8 my rebirth begins

Hell I can't remember if I posted here or not.

Anyway
Started at 16 with....................

1990 White Plymouth Acclaim, lasted about a year

moved on to a 1994 green plymouth acclaim. Lasted about 2 years until I killed the engine by not refilling the oil. Light came on and it didn't make it the few miles to somewhere I could buy some. Carry oil in cars ever since. I really miss this car. I was great...

In 2000 I Got a 1996 Pontiac Sunfire that went through 2 engines. first engine messed up after I nudged the shifter into "2" and proceeded to go 65 on the highway.... yea engine was NOT happy after that. Replaced engine and drove car till it was paid off sometime in 2005

in 05 I got a brand spanking new nearly base model Cobalt. Certainly was not a bad car. I miss my MP3 from cd option and the fact that it had auto lights and a random that ******* works.

Traded that in back in June for the 06 RX8 GT. I MUST drive this car till it dies some horrible death.

Here's what I've had in the past 20 years, last ones first.

Current:
09 RX8
94 Sentra (beater)

Gone but not forgotten:
05 S2000
03 350Z
91 300ZX
90 CRX SI
85 CRX HF
81 Accord 2 door hatch (my first car!)

Except for the accord and now RX8/Sentra, they were all 2 seaters with manual trans. I loved them all and enjoyed them a lot. Still like seeing any of these on the road, reminds me of mine and what I was doing at that point in my life. Too bad most CRXs I see are butchered now.

Here are the ones that are gone and definitely forgotten:
95 Stanza (beater)
00 Accord coupe V6

These were both automatics and I did not like them at all, it was the main reason I did not last much in the Accord coupe. Nice car but not sporty enough for me and I need a manual, don't know what I was thinking.

Including wife's cars:

66 Mustang - hurst shifter 4 on the floor, 289ci, hooker headers, cherry bombs, holley carb/edelbrock intake mani. Lousy paint and more rust than metal in the rear qtrs/trunk pan. 3 speeding tickets at 16 and dad made me sell it.

1986 Pontiac Sunbird turbo GT bought new

1990 Eagle Talon TSi fwd turbo, bought new, loved that car.

1992 Nissan Pathfinder what a pos

1990 Ford Escort wagon (wife, then gf's)

1977 Ford Granada 302ci rare 4 on the floor (wifes dad gave it to her when the escort died)

1994 Pontiac Grand Am (wife, then gf's)

1990 Eagle Talon TSi AWD turbo, bought in 1998 w/70k miles still own it now with 206k miles, used as a daily while modding it now just for strip days.

1997 Mustang GT convertible (wifes) traded for Caravan

1999 Dodge Grand Caravan (wifes) thank God it died.

1999 Chevy CK 1500 for haulin still own

2001 Dodge Stratus RT coupe still own (just needed a daily w/ working AC) and always had good luck with Dodge/Mitsu joint venture cars from the Normal, Ill plant.

2004 Mazda RX8 for fun

Probably replace my daily Dodge Stratus soon w/ a used 07+ Caddy CTS, 04+ Saab 9-3 Vector, Dodge Charger RT, Infinity G35 sedan, 05+ Nissan Altima SE-R, or 04+ Subaru Legacy GT. I just dont believe in buying new anymore, let someone else take the depreciation hit for me.

1994 Camaro V6. Yes, the car voted for worst interior on this site lol. This was my first car and I paid for half, my parents the other half. The 3.4 v6 was HORRIBLE, but I learned so much on it. I had Pacesetter headers, completely custom 3 inch exhaust with Loudmouth (straight-through) mufflers, "custom" shifter (I sawed a good inch off the thread, made it shorter), and Corvette ZR1 replica wheels in black. The car actually looked really nice, and was one of the nicer Camaros in town. My parents sold it for me when I went to bootcamp, but they still see it around town now and then.

First car when I was 17 paid 1000 for was a bright yellow 74 VW Karmann Ghia. Last year made so it had working heat. I restored this car and sold it for 6k 2 yrs later when I needed something reliable for school. Biggest mistake Ive ever made. I miss that car and am currently looking for a 74 vert model. Next was a 02 Chevy Cavalier Z24 5sdp. 2dr. not a bad car. 35mpg and had the infamous quad 4 motor. I actually ordered a gm supercharger for it and never got around to installing it so I sold it along with the car to pay for my first RX8. That was an 04 6spd in VR with red and black int. Wrecked it after a month (doh!). Then bought my current car which is my 05 shinka with a 6spd. Mmmm black cherry. I already know my next car will either be an mx5 or a toyoburu. That concept is dead sexy

First year in production, 283c.i solid lifter...sweet car with a smooth line body. sold it to a friend but wished I'd have kept it later on...this another one I'm interested in buying if I can work out a deal.....old school chevy fever I guess, don't know what else it could be.
