It's not functional at the track either. It's mounted wrong and way too tall.

edit: it's also way to raked. It would act more like an airbrake.

Is that so? I am going to consult with my panel of experts and get back to you on that.

Grand-AM car wing. Notice how it's no taller than the roof line and relatively flat. Don't forget that this is mounted through the trunk to the chasis, the car is a tube frame, it has 150whp more give or take, and is geared to hit top speed at the end of a straight.

now look at the wing's height, angle, and mounting. Do you really think it's functional?

^^^ My point exactly. Even a race car built by people who know what they are doing doesn't have a beast like that on the trunk. That's not a functional wing, therefore it's unnecessary, therefore it puts it closer to rice than race.

Because that wouldn't be nearly as much fun.

And that poor Ferrari is getting dizzy up there.

It probably has remote actuators that lower it to the ideal height as speed increases.

True.

That "Ferrari" was done all the way up front too, I just couldn't get pics of the front die to the bushes.

If Grand-Am would let them, they would put that wing up in the clean air. It's less efficient when it's hidden behind the cabin. The wing on the street RX8 has to have a higher angle of attack. It doesn't work as well as the one used in GA (less efficient/more drag).

If that 8 really was a track car and attained the speeds and G forces to necessitate that wing then it wouldn't be using it's stock rotors and would at least require drilled and slotted rotors and preferably a caliper upgrade but it clearly has it's stock rotors in the pic.

Thank you. I was saying it's rice because the wing is not needed. And, it looks retarded.

This is like fat and obese people wearing spandex and think they look good. Some people just don't realize that sometimes people pointing and saying something it isn't always a compliment.

There is a little icon immediately next to the quote button, it has quotations marks and an addition sign, use it to multi quote.

I'd venture a bet that the air hitting the Grand-Am's spoiler is not as dirty as you might think. The cabin is pretty smooth, and I bet the flow around it is relatively laminar. The flat angle on the GA car's spoiler would still provide a good bit of down force because the air is coming at it at a downward angle right there. Raking it like on that purple car is overkill and causing more drag than anything, I'd put money on it.

The first car must be painted at least 8 different colors following no lines whatsoever

The picture of the truck does not begin to show how ridiculously low and ricey it is...and its a nice truck

Nice two-tone bro
