Warrenty

What was the basic warrenty for the '04 ?

took my car in today for the tail light water and they stated i was no longer under warrenty. expired last month

47500 miles

the 04s had a 4 year warranty or 50000 miles. however the 04s were sold in 03. i have no doubt that an 04's four year lifespan just passed.

All depends on the purchase date.

If you call Mazda Customer Service, they will tell you how long you have left on your warranty to the day. Or, as is probably your case, when it ran out. I have an 04 and it will run out in two weeks.

Engine has been extended to 5yr or 50K. I called the factory to double check and they confirmed it.

You might want to take your car in if the tail lights are on the engine.

That's 5 years 60K miles. The bumper to bumper was 4 years 50K miles and the first 04s came out in June of 03 but the warrenty starts at the day of purchase.
