Mazda production and sales for August

doing pretty well despite lackluster automotive sales in general. improved in Japan down a bit overall. Europe booming for Mazda2.

The company gave the following output, sales and export data for August, with year-on-year percentage changes:

Domestic vehicle output - up 2.0 percent at 72,530

Domestic car output - up 6.2 percent at 70,298

Domestic vehicle sales - down 6.3 percent at 18,192

Domestic car sales - down 3.7 percent at 15,151

Exports - up 20.9 percent at 61,790

Overseas output - down 20.6 percent at 20,946

Global production - down 4.1 percent at 93,476

(1 US dollar = 115.45 yen)

The RX-8 sales aren't mentioned, how can they suck? Its a low-volume car anyway, and has already sold more than any gen of the RX-7, making the RX-8 the largest-selling rotary vehicle ever.

The only thing that "sucks dick" is that they came in automatic.
