That makes two of us, if I have to work late on a Friday night. Over 1/2 my usual drive home is up hwy 100 so I end up taking a different route for that very reason no matter which car I'm driving.

If you come across any 235-255 X 17 let me know. Though 255 might be a little tough to fit on my stock wheels. Not sure how the hell I ended up with my all seasons on the wheels I bought with the intention of using them for trackdays I'd even settle for some Azenis with good life left in em. Ideally I'll happen across some Advans off a stock Evo for cheap.

heh, reminds of the video of the guy with the "GTR" mustang at a car show, people will lie just to try and fit in and get people to like them, maybe it's a self esteem thing, or peer pressure (?) or something, but I run across it all the time. Seems heavily prevalent in the IT field as well, always some contractor talking about how he owns a club, a bunch of cars, etc. and that the work he's doing is just to pad his income from the other "real" stuff etc.

hahaha I meet a lot of people who claim they are C++, .NET, Java, SQL programmers . Basically they are expert with everything under the sun! I like to test them a little bit sometimes with a question like "so what do you think of the profile object in asp.net vs the session object?" They usually go, "um yeah.. I didnt really program, I managed our team"

heh, yeah I do the same thing lol I use simple stuff like dns questions or basic active directory stuff (man, group policies works great lol) and go from there. I can spot the bs "experts" pretty easily, and it's fun to watch them squirm too

LOL! Reading this stuff is funny! I don't own a 8, but you guys will appreciate this one.

About a week after I got my 3s sedan in 05 I was getting gas. A guy I knew came up talking to me and in short the conversation consisted of this.

"Man I like your Mazda. What is it?"
Me- "It's a Mazda3"
Him - "Cool. Is it fast?"
Me-"Uhhhhhhh??" "I just got it, it's quick on it's feet for the class." (Really didn't know how to anwer him.)
Him- "Yeah those rotaries are good engines, you can wind them up pretty far."

At this point I thought he was talking about the rotary in general, as in associating it with Mazda...........WRONG!

Me-"Yeah, I looked at the 8, but with my commute and going to college still I wanted to get something a little more practical for me right now. But I would love to have one someday."

Him- "Yeah the 8 is sweet. But at least Mazda puts rotaries in all their vehicles, so you still get the engine."

I so did not know how to correct him or keep from laughing. I just couldn't believe it. Seriously, even with the 2.3 badge on the side he though I had a rotary?

When I leave this is the best part.

Hey yells "Wind it up man!" LOL! I just putted along in hysterics.

Mazda used to do that, put rotaries in every car.

But that was what, 40 years ago?
