yeah, this is no different than US taxes. we're taxed more or less based on our incomes, and like it or not, this is the same thing.
the fines are BASED ON someone's income. sure, a poor person is fined LESS OVERALL MONEY, but the PERCENTAGE of income would be the same. so $950,000 to this guy is a lot, just like a $500 or $1000 ticket to someone making minimum wage would be a lot of money
i'm ok with the concept, if it's percentage based. what the hell would stop another rich person from doing the same thing if the fine was the standard $500??
but yes, i agree with maz...............if you're broke but have buddies with nice rides, you're in the clear!! ha ha.
